From the Principal’s Desk… TLCS...70 Years & Its Still All About JESUS! Its Still All About JesusLOVE! “Show us Your steadfast love, O Lord, and grant us Your salvation.” Psalm 85: 7 As we continue our Advent walk together, our preparations center around the greatest gift we could ever receive. This week our focus is on the second candle on the Advent wreath. We see the shining light from the Bethlehem Candle or the Candle of LOVE. One might think that this is a no brainer...how can anyone misunderstand...LOVE! Ask any child about their greatest gift and you might hear about the latest and most popular toy or the next great technological device! Everyone anxiously awaits those presents that they would just LOVE to own! However, our focus turns to words like show us...grant us...and steadfast LOVE!!! Not necessarily the latest and greatest gadget! The Bethlehem candle shines its Light on something much more. Out of the city of David, which is called Bethlehem”, a child will be born. So, out of this small, insignificant little town, we hear about the coming of the greatest gift we could ever receive. This week our focus is the LOVE shining from the tiny child born in a lowly manger. Well, not exactly what we or the world may have expected, but a steadfast LOVEwhich is heard by lowly shepherds in a field and Wise Men bearing gifts, and YOU! Yes, it is a message for us, too! A message the children here at Trinity have been sharing since day one. A message of Hope and now His forever LOVE, because Its Still All About Jesus! It is a message that will be shared next Thursday, December 21st at 6:30p.m. in our church sanctuary as the children prepare to share this story through their program, Silent Night, Holy Night! A message of the LOVE radiating from our Savior born on that Silent, Holy Night! Get ready to hear the Good News about the greatest giftof LOVE we could ever receive! It’s Still All About Jesus’ LOVE! “Show us

Your steadfast love, O Lord, and grant us

Your salvation.” Psalm 85: 7

We filled ANOTHER barrel! We reached our GOAL! We will continue to share our abundant blessings one more time NEXT Wednesday. Each Tuesday, envelopes are sent home with the children as a reminder to bring an offering for chapel. Designations through December will help those in our Amarillo community through the High Plains Food Bank. Please keep this opportunity in your giving and prayers! Chapel begins at 8:45a.m. Please make plans to join us!
