Parking

Parking for parents is in the outer loop of the front parking lot or the gravel lot beside the old school (especially during arrival)

Please do not use the parking lot behind the school near the bus loop (golf carts as well)

Parking and dropping off a child is not allowed. Please use the car rider line.

Arrival/Dismissal

New arrival time for students: 7:10 AM

Cars must be at canopy no later than 7:25 or must escort student to the office

Car rider numbers must be displayed in vehicles.

Dismissal will be staggered:

2:20 Bus riders

2:25 Walkers

2:30 Car riders

Students will be called and will be helped into cars by staff members. There is no need for parents to get out of their cars.

All students will enter and exit the building through the front entrance

School Bus Rider Plan

Every child first grade or younger will have a bus tag/sticker.

Every first grade child or younger that does not have a parent at the bus stop will be brought back to the school.

Please make sure that you have determined the bus pick up point (bus stop) for your child.

Make sure that you are aware of the bus number and have shared it with your child’s teacher.

Bus dismissal is 2:30 PM.Behavior expectations on the

bus are the same as in the classroom.

Car Rider Plan

Every car rider’s parent must have a car rider number.

Siblings will have the same number.

Please make sure you have signed up for a car rider number.

Read, sign and return the Car Rider Agreement Form.

For the safety of all, please abide by the car rider expectations.

No child will be allowed into a car that does not have the car rider number in possession and visible.

***Parents/guardians who do not have the car rider number in possession will have to check the student out in the front office.

Birthday Celebrations

In keeping with CCSD’s wellness initiatives, we are reducing the amount of food that we use for celebrations.

Child’s name will be mentioned on the morning news.

Birthday boys and girls will receive a birthday ribbon and pencil.

Parents may purchase a birthday book for the library that is dedicated to the birthday boy/girl.

Parents can still come to have lunch with the birthday boy/girl but can not bring goodies for the whole class.

Dolphin Folder

Every child will have a dolphin folder coming home the first day of school.

Dolphin Folders will contain: Parent Handbook (keep at home and read )

Student information cards Health cards **Please fill out the student information

and health cards and return to school in the dolphin folder on Tuesday, August 19.
