In conjunction with Long Island Reads’ celebration of National Library Week, the Fisher Library’s own reading club, “People of the Book,” will read Alyson Richman’s evocative novel, The Lost Wife. Set in pre-war Prague, The Lost Wife is a story of love and tragedy. Join us in reading The Lost Wife, copies of which are available in the Fisher Library. On April 1, our “People of the Book” group will gather for a “Novel and Nosh” at the library. Then, on Sunday, April 22, we will join with readers from across Long Island at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Library to hear author Alyson Richman
