The JERSEY -JAC is the Stibbe-Monk fixed selectionsingle jersey jacquard machine: 72 feeders - 26"diameter - 24 or 28 needles per inch. This machine isspecifically designed for production of weft knittedmen's shirtings, ladies' lightweight dress and blousefabrics.

The pattern width is 24 needles wide (48 in mirrorrepeat) . Pattern depths are 36, 24 or 18 courses for2, 3 or 4 colour designs respectively.

Each needle can either miss, tuck or knit at each feed.Selection is made by a double sided comb. Needles areraised unless selected to miss at the first position;all raised needles can be selected to tuck at the secondposition. All unselected needles knit.

Pattern combs are prepared on a manual butt breaker.

Yarn accommodation is by a 72 end overhead bobbinstand or 144 end floor mounted creels which allowmagazine tie-up.

Recommended machine speed is 21 r.p.m. under idealknitting conditions.
