Class: Primary 1 Teachers: Miss McPartlin & Mrs DaviesCheck-in Message: Friday 22nd JanuaryGood morning everyone! It’s Friday today! Well done for working so hard this week. We are super proud of you all. You and your families have been doing a great job. We hope you have a lovely weekend! We hope you took time yesterday to go and play in the snow and had a great time!Find somewhere that you are comfortable to sit and learn in. Again, sitting at a table is a great idea but if you can’t do that, find somewhere that is not too noisy. This will help you to learn. How are you feeling today? What is the weather like outside today? Is it another snowy day today?

What about you? Can you think of a time when you were brave?
MainTalk to someone at home about a time when you have felt brave. Can you draw a picture to show us? Remember to include lots of detail and to do your neatest colouring. Ask an adult to write a simple sentence explaining your picture underneath. For example: I was brave when I fell and hurt my knee.

Maths and Numeracy – Inside and Outside
We are learning to apply our Numeracy and Maths skills to solve different challenges.
On a Friday, we often go outside to take part in some Maths and Numeracy activities. Today, we have set you a Maths Scavenger Hunt. We have made a list of things you can find or take part in either outside or inside. Good luck! How many can you complete? We look forward to hearing how you get on with this at our twitter pages @MissMcPartlin1 @MrsStfr @stfrancisps.

Health and Wellbeing - PE
We are learning to take part in activities which help to keep us fit and healthy.
Normally on a Friday we have PE with Lauren. Today we are going to exercise with Miss McDonald who works in Primary 2. Each day, on our school Twitter and Youtube pages, there will be a different dance activity to take part in with Miss McDonald. They are great fun, you will really enjoy them! Find a safe space to exercise with enough room to move about. Remember
