WE EXTEND our sinceresympathy to our Japanesecolleagues and friends on the

devastation their country suffered. Inspite of the mega challenges they havehad to face, we are happy that withtheir tremendous resolve to overcomechallenges, their productive engines aregetting on with the job.

Thankfully, neither Suzuki norMitsubishi production plants weredamaged, however, many of thesuppliers of components to the motorvehicle sector were severely affected

thereby restricting supplies, particularlyof Suzuki vehicles.  We were thereforeunable to fill the demand for many ofyour favourite models, especially theGrand vitara.  However, we are happyto advise that production is on thereturn to normality so give us a call asstock levels are back on track and yourneed for all our Suzuki models will bemet.

Fortunately, we had good stocks of ourMitsubishi line and will be launching anew 2 litre SUv, the aSX later thismonth.

maximum rainfall and the

sloping metal roofs, with a

well designed guttering

system collects rainwater,

channeling it into PvC

pipes fitted with filters

that fill plastic as well as

metal storage tanks.

In twenty minutes of

good rainfall, all tanks

are filled.

Pamela Bennett,

explained that both

harvested water. “When it

rains, the water from the

roof comes down through

those white pipes and

then goes into the tanks”

she explained. Every

vehicle at the facility is

washed with water

harvested from the

system. NWC visitied us

in 2000 as they were

curious as to the reason

for the reduction in water

usage and were surprised

at our innovation.

Global Crisis

groundwater impacts us

all and it is the source of

drinking water for many.

Groundwater is the

second largest reserve of

freshwater on our planet

and when this is depleted,

the effects on the

landscape and the people

are drastic.
