Leader: It’s time to give! People: Praise the Lord!
Leader: Has God been good to you? People: The Lord is blessing us right now.
Leader: It’s time to give our tithe!
People: The tithe belongs to the Lord because the Bible says, “And all the tithe of the
land, whether of the seed of the land or fruit of the tree, it is the Lord’s. It is holy to the
Lord.” (Leviticus 27:30)
Leader: Who should tithe?
People: “...Let every one of you lay by Him in store, as God has prospered
him…..” (I Corinthians 16:2)
Leader: Why should we tithe?
People: We give because we love the Lord and recognize that the Lord is the source
of our past, present, and future blessings. (Psalm 116:1, 14)
Leader: Should we tithe on our gross or net income?
People: “You shall truly tithe all the increase of your seed, that the field brings forth
from year to year.” (Deuteronomy 14:22)
Leader: How much should we tithe?
People: “Abraham gave a tenth of all he had.” (Hebrews 7:4)
Leader: What is God’s promise to those who tithe?
People: “I will open up the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that you will not
have room to receive it.” (Malachi 3:10)
Leader: How should I give today?
People: God loves a cheerful giver. (II Corinthians 9:7)
Leader: What should I expect?
People: “Give and it shall be given to you, good measure, pressed down, shaken to-
gether, running over, shall it be poured into your life. For with the same measure you
give, it shall be returned to you again.” (Luke 6:38)

Evangelist Priscilla E. Felton
First Lady
Mount Airy Church of God in Christ
“TO GOD BE THE GLORY”
E vangelist Priscilla E. Felton is the First Lady of the Mt. Airy
Church of Philadelphia, Inc., where her husband of 34 years,
Dr. J. Louis Felton, is the Pastor and Servant Leader since the sum-
mer of 2010. Bishop Ernest C. Morris, Sr. is the Founder.
A Native of Canada, Rev. Priscilla E. Felton has served with her husband
during three pastoral assignments: The House of Prayer Community
Church, 1984-1991; The Galilee Baptist Church of Kalamazoo, MI, 1991-
2010, (where she was ordained under the pastoral leadership of Dr. J. Louis
Felton, and in association and fellowship with the Michigan Progressive
Baptist Convention), and The Mt. Airy Church Family.
Rev. Felton has received numerous awards and citations, including YWCA
Woman of Achievement Award, Woman of the Year and Outstanding First Lady, Northside Ministerial Alli-
ance, where she served as secretary of the Northside Ministerial Alliance (Kalamazoo, Michigan), as her hus-
band served as the President of the Alliance from 1998 through 2010. Her husband is now the 2nd Vice Presi-
dent of the Black Clergy of Philadelphia and Vicinity as well as the 1st Vice President of the NAACP of Phila-
delphia, Pennsylvania; and Rev. Priscilla E. Felton is a member of both the Black Clergy and the NAACP of
Philadelphia, PA.
Rev. Felton has attended Western Theological Seminary and Grand Rapids Theological Seminary in Michigan.
While attending Davenport University she served as an admissions officer and special assistant to the President
of the University.
Rev. Felton is a founding member of the Links, Kalamazoo, Michigan Chapter.
The mother of a son and a daughter (her daughter is also an ordained minister and the administrator of Chang-
ing A Generation Ministries Full Gospel Baptist Church of Atlanta, Georgia), Rev. Felton is also the grand-
mother of five (5).
Rev. Priscilla Felton masters the ministry of helps, as she helped her husband grow the membership of The
Galilee Baptist Church from less than 100 to over 2,000 souls and the construction of a 33,000 square feet,
$7,000,000.00 facility, encompassing an entire city bock. Already the Lord has added over 2,100 souls to the
Mt. Airy Church membership as this year is the 50th Anniversary of the founding of Mt. Airy. The church now
appears weekly on the WORD Network and broadcasts live on WNAP each Sunday morning from 11:00 a.m.
until noon, along with live streaming.
The word of God says, “A woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” Proverbs 31:30
