Stewardship Definition
• The lifestyle of one who accepts Christ’s lordship, walking in partnership with God and acting as His agents to manage His affairs on earth. It is human’s side of the Lordship of Jesus Christ
• It is all of the me in response to all of God
Why are we Stewards?
• God created the world▫ “In the beginning God created the heaven and the
earth.” – Genesis 1:1 (KJV)
▫ “27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” – Genesis 1:27-28 (KJV)
Why are we Stewards?
• All things belong to God

• We are therefore to give willingly
▫ “7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” – 2 Corinthians 9:7 (KJV)

Stewards of Time

Stewards of Talent
• Our talents are given to us by God according to our abilities, see Matthew 25:15

• If we use our talents wisely and invest in them we will learn new talents.
