RACE 9 LUKE’S LAD( 6 ) Weight Variation. 10 Days Incapacitation Certificate issued. The greyhound last started on 2/5/20 at the weight of 29.3kgs, and was presented today at 31.9kgs, which was unacceptable to Stewards. Trainer G Sattler was fined $100.00 per his breach of GAR 39(3).

Stewards permitted BLAZING SNAP – Race 2 No. 8, to compete under GAR 39(2).The greyhound last started

on 27/6/20 at the weight of 30.0kgs, and was presented today at 31.5kgs.

A pre race sample is to be obtained from FAR FETCHED – Race 7 No. 7

WINNER ALQUIST( 7 )

PERFORMANCE/ INCIDENTS

RIO DIXIE( 2 ), STICKY WICKET( 3 ), and KEY CAN DO( 4 ), were all slow to begin. In two separate incidents approaching the turn into the back straight, RIO DIXIE( 2 ) and STICKY WICKET( 3 ) came together, and KEY CAN DO( 4 ) was checked off the heels of LITTLE PROSPECT( 8 ), losing ground. JET JACKSON( 1 ) and SARDINA( 6 ) came together at the turn out of the back straight. The winner of this event ALQUIST( 7 ) was locked away for a Urine Sample to be obtained at the Direction of Stewards.

BIG DIGGER( 6 ) was slow to begin. NIGHT CORBAN( 7 ) and BLAZING SNAP( 8 ) came together soon after the start, with NIGHT CORBAN( 7 ) losing ground. ZAMBORA BRUNO( 1 ) raced erratically approaching the turn into the back straight, checking WEST END GIRL( 2 ) and NIGHT CORBAN( 7 ), with WEST END GIRL( 2 ) losing ground. TODDLER TANTRUM( 5 ) galloped on the back of BLAZING SNAP( 8 ) in the back straight, causing both runners to lose ground, TODDLER TANTRUM( 5 ) worst affected, continuing to yield ground for the remainder of the race. BIG DIGGER( 6 ) was checked off the heels of BLAZING SNAP( 8 ) at the turn out of the back straight. ZAMBORA BRUNO( 1 ) galloped across the heels of BIG DIGGER( 6 ), approaching the home turn. Stewards spoke to the trainer of ZAMBORA BRUNO( 1 ) regarding his greyhounds actions approaching the turn into the back straight. Stewards took no further action other than to highlight the waywardness of the greyhounds actions to Mr Davies. TODDLER TANTRUM( 5 ) was vetted with no incapacitation period imposed

ASTON RAPIDE( 8 ) in crossing to the lead approaching the turn into the back straight, checked JUSTA TITCH( 4 ) and CANDY MOON( 7 ), which both lost ground, hampering ZIPPING GIBSON( 5 ) and PIPER ARCHER( 6 ). WILD SAIL( 1 ) galloped across the heels of KINLOCH TIGER( 2 ) approaching the home turn, racing wide, hampering PIPER ARCHER( 6 ).

WINNER LOCHINVAR RUBBLE( 1 )

PERFORMANCE/ INCIDENTS

MINER’S JETT( 7 ) was slow to begin. KNIGHT ZIPPER( 3 ) impacted with the running rail approaching the first turn, losing ground and racing wide from this incident, colliding with POWERFUL PAT( 2 ), HUNTER’S MOON( 5 ), and MINER’S JETT( 7 ). As a result, all four runners lost ground. FABULOUS TIME( 8 ) raced wide at the first turn, and continued to race wide for the remainder of the race. KNIGHT ZIPPER( 3 ) again struck the running rail approaching the turn into the back straight, losing further ground, checking HUNTER’S MOON( 5 ). KNIGHT ZIPPER( 3 ) was vetted and was found to have sustained a minor abrasion to the near side hind leg. No stand down period imposed.

In two separate incidents at the first turn, PIXI LIMEBURNER( 8 ) in crossing to the rails, checked FAR FETCHED( 7 ), and BEFORE THE STORM( 1 ), ALL OVER JACK( 3 ), and SHE’S INVICTIVE( 4 ), came together, causing SHE’S INVICTIVE( 4 ) to lose ground sharply, checking HOLD YOUR FIRE( 2 ). FAR FETCHED( 7 ) raced very wide at the home turn.

PEGASUS PAL( 8 ) galloped on the back of CHEVY ROYALE( 6 ) soon after the start. 85 raced wide in the run to the first turn, hampering CHEVY ROYALE( 6 ). CHEVY ROYALE( 6 ) checked STELLA MARINA( 5 ) at the first turn, with STELLA MARINA( 5 ) losing ground. Shortly after, CHEVY ROYALE( 6 ) checked PATAKY( 1 ), which also lost ground. BILTON’S GIRL( 2 ) galloped across the heels of STELLA MARINA( 5 ) approaching the home turn, racing wide at the home turn. In a separate unrelated home turn incident, PATAKY( 1 ) and PEGASUS PAL( 8 ) collided, causing PATAKY( 1 ) to lose ground checking CHILL OUT FORDY( 4 ) and FLYING DARCY( 7 ). PATAKY( 1 ) was vetted with no incapacitation period imposed

DONNA DOLPHIN( 7 ) lost ground in the run to the first turn, and tailed out. KIARNI JOE( 2 ) raced wide approaching the home turn, hampering LUCK AND FUN( 3 ) and TAP OUT TINY( 8 ). GAS HER UP( 1 ) raced wide soon after entering the home straight, checking KIARNI JOE( 2 ). Shortly after, POPS AND BUBBLES( 5 ), checked GAS HER UP( 1 ), with GAS HER UP( 1 ) losing ground. DONNA DOLPHIN( 7 ) was vetted with no incapacitation period imposed. Stewards considered the performance of DONNA DOLPHIN( 7 ) to be unsatisfactory, and invoked GAR 71. As a consequence, DONNA DOLPHIN( 7 ) is required to trial satisfactorily prior to re-nomination. Connections advised it was their intention to now retire the greyhound. The winner of this event ALL INN EVIE( 4 ) was locked away for a Urine Sample to be obtained at the Direction of Stewards.
