Albion Lad was trialling in accord with LR 21B, having not started for a period exceeding six months. The

greyhound eased at the turn out of the back straight, and was not passed from the trial.

Vet 2. Spike wound off side hind foot. 7 days incapacitation certificate imposed.

Swift Zeal was trialling to clear a cramping endorsement incurred from Temora ( 457m ), 6/9/20. The

greyhound trialled satisfactorily and was cleared all tracks, however up to a maximum distance of 449m.

Swift Zeal again cramped – both hind legs, however as this occurred after the finish line, Stewards passed

the greyhound from the trial. 14 day incapacitation period imposed.

A pre race sample is to be obtained from BE GIFTED – Race 2 No. 7

The three placegetters from Race 7 – the Million Dollar Chase Regional Final, will be swabbed.

Stewards permitted RUSSELL ROCKIN’ – Race 1 No. 5, to compete under GAR 39(2). The greyhound last

started on 3/7/20 at the weight of 25.6kgs, and was presented tonight at 27.2kgs.

WINNER GOT A CLUE( 1 )

PERFORMANCE/ INCIDENTS

VELOCITY HOPE( 8 ) began quickly. ROY RIP( 6 ) checked RUSSELL ROCKIN” ( 5 ) soon after the start, with RUSSELL ROCKIN”( 5 ), losing ground, remaining at the tail of the field thereafter, finishing a distant last. Shortly after, ROY RIP( 6 ) checked MR. INBETWEEN( 4 ), which also lost ground. PLEAD INNOCENT( 2 ) raced wide soon after entering the home straight, hampering VELOCITY HOPE( 8 ). GOT A CLUE( 1 ) was vetted and was found to have sustained a spike wound to the off side hind foot. No stand down period imposed. RUSSELL ROCKIN’( 5 ) was vetted, with no injury found. Stewards spoke to the trainer of RUSSELL ROCKIN’( 5 ) with regards to the greyhounds performance. Stewards informed Mr Bootsma that the greyhound wasn’t performing to a level suitable for TAB racing, with tonight’s run consistent with recent poor performances when beaten by sizeable margins. Stewards informed Mr Bootsma that if he continued to nominate for TAB meetings, without any form improvement, then action would likely result.

TIGGERLONG BLAZE( 7 ) began quickly. CURIOUS FAITH( 6 ) BLUE DIAMONDS( 10 ) both dwelt at box rise, conceding ground at the start. DUST STORM( 2 ) raced wide approaching the first turn, checking SPEAKING SPANISH( 4 ) and MISS BON BON( 5 ), with SPEAKING SPANISH( 4 ) losing ground. COFFEE WITH TEN( 1 ) raced wide abruptly at the first turn, checking DUST STORM( 2 ), MISS BON BON( 5 ), CURIOUS FAITH( 6 ), and TIGGERLONG BLAZE( 7 ).
