The Production Supervisor manages and coordinates the activities of production personnel engaged in packaging beverage products for storage & shipment, including providing leadership, direction, and facilitation on multiple high speed production lines. Position Responsibilities
Direct and coach production operators in the execution of daily/weekly production schedules for multiple packaging lines.
Manage within labor and operating expense budget.
Coordinate beverages packaging ensuring safety, quality and productivity while minimizing waste.
Meet the productivity, quality, safety, health, environmental and morale goals established for the site.
Complete and update all necessary production paperwork and record.
Ensure equipment in the area assigned is in working order and that working conditions are safe at all times.
Review and analyze production records to identify opportunities for improvement.
Make recommendations for long term solutions, including recommendations for replacing equipment, refurbishing equipment, procedural changes, productivity improvement, material change, etc., related to the area of accountability.
Drive the continuous improvement agenda in area of responsibility through teamwork, skills, and capability development.
Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members.
Manage and facilitate employee and management relationship within the guidelines of the labor
contract and company policy.

Dr Pepper Snapple Group (NYSE: DPS) is one of the largest beverage companies in the Americas.
DPSG manufactures, markets and distributes more than 50 brands of carbonated soft drinks, juices,
ready-to-drink teas, mixers and other premium beverages across the United States, Canada, Mexico and
the Caribbean.
Operations Manager
Manage all aspects of manufacturing on seven Tetra Aseptic and Low Acid Aseptic filling lines
with some responsibility for site wide activities. The Aspers site consist of one TBA/19 high acid
Tetra filling lines, four Low Acid TBA/19 Tetra filling lines, two Low Acid A3 Speed Tetra filling
lines, two Aseptic cold fill PET filling lines, one preserved PET filling line and one hot fill glass
filling line.
I am responsible for administrative duties such performance management, communication
meetings and Continuous Improvement.
I am Accountable for meeting and exceeding the productivity, efficiency, customer service, cost,
quality, safety, health, environmental and morale goals established for the site.
Direct and/or coordinate warehousing activities to limit cost and improve accuracy, customer
service and safety.
KPI responsibility includes Developing People, Coaching, Safety, Quality, Cost, Yield, Production,
and Maintenance.
Selected Achievements
Increased average operational efficiency from 75% to 91% on low acid production and increased
the high acid production from 46% to 92% efficiency in a four-year period. For 2010 returned
$127K positive labor variance.
Reduced yield losses to within 1% of perfection for ingredients and packaging. For 2010 returned
$287K positive ingredients and packaging variance.
I am also commissioned a $9M project to expand production using the latest technologies. My
contributions include advising on equipment selection, line design, coordinating contractors,
preparing staff, developing spare parts stock, maintenance plans, operational and maintenance
procedures, and training of operations and maintenance staff. This project exceeded expectations
for quality product, efficiency, and operational cost.

ASSET CARE MANAGER February 2005 – August 2006
Manage maintenance of Plant Infrastructure, Building (structure and fire protection), Utilities
(power distribution, water, compressed air, steam generation and waste water treatment) and
Grounds.
In this role I advanced capital request for projects to replace and upgrade major infrastructure. I
managed these projects to minimize the impact to the plant's production and the community.
Projects that I managed included the following: $118K installation of an onsite Railroad Crossing
over which more than 1,500 tractor and trailers traveled each week; $389K repair of Underground
Waste Water Piping and handling systems; $280K Paving and Drop Lot project; $74K Steam
Pipe Insulation and many other cost savings and essential replacement projects. All of these
projects were completed without disruption to the plant operations.
I was accountable for the procurement of spare parts and services. In addition, I was accountable
for maintaining the Computerized Maintenance Management System and coordinating internal
and external technical support for all production areas.
Selected Achievements
One of my personal highlights during this time was the development and execution of a capital
project to restore a 72 valve Krones Mono-Block Rinser-Filler-Capper to OEM standards. The
OEM quoted $110K and 10 days down time to complete the task. I managed the task for $52K
and completed it in less than 48 hours avoiding extensive loss of production. In addition, this
project enabled the line standard to be increased by over 27%. This was accomplished by
planning, organizing and training existing staff, and incorporating support from a rigging company.
Shift Operations Manager August 2004 to February 2005
Responsible for managing Shift Operations for three PET production lines with accountability
including entire plant operations on the night shifts. Two of the lines were Aseptic operations and
one line was preserved operation. All three production lines included online blow molding.

Line Manager March 2000 to August 2004
Challenged to commission the newly constructed low-acid manufacturing line for the Chocolate
Box line. Processes and programs were validated at a very high level and extensive operator
training was conducted resulting with the line in full production 40% earlier than scheduled.
Selected Achievements
I choreographed and drove a comprehensive and detailed training program involving vendors,
operators, and maintenance personnel.
I received a Recognition Award for Leadership, Vision, Tenacity and coordination of projects
completed on time and under budget with savings of approximately $4 million.
The new chocolate box line contributed a positive $400k operating variance the first full year.
Chocolate Box was viewed as the benchmark product area in terms of design, performance and
culture.
Team Leader / Electromechanical Technician July 1997 to March 2000
In July of 1997 I was promoted to Maintenance on seven Tetra filling lines.
In 1998 I was part of the ISO 14001 Environmental Team that developed the EMS and began
internal audits that lead to the Aspers, PA plant being recognized with the Green Dove Award
from the state of Pennsylvania.
In November of 1999 I was promoted to Team Lead over the second shift on the seven Tetra
filling lines.
Machine Operator / Utility July 1987 to July 1997
In August of 1988 I commissioned new Bucher-Guyer horizontal hydraulic fruit presses. My
contributions included developing Operational procedures, cleaning procedures, maintenance
plans, organizing spare parts and training Operators.
In August of 1990 I moved to juice processing and filtration. In this position I tracked fresh juice
inventories, ensure raw material blends to achieve specified attributes of finished juice, operated
centrifuges and filtration systems to meet final product specifications.
In March of 1995 I supported the commissioning of two new Tetra Pak TBA/9 filling lines. I
continued to support this operation as an Operator until July 1997.
