I handle multiple tasks on a daily basis competently, working well under the daily pressure of an FMCG site. To further enhance my career I am currently undertaking the NEBOSH Environmental Diploma. Part of three person EHS team responsible for Reckitt Benckiser Healthcares “flagship” manufacturing site. Duties include carrying out risk assessments, incident investigations, workplace inspections and internal safety audits to OHSAS 18001 standards. Chemical Process Operative – July 2005 – Nov 2011 – Reckitt Benckiser Healthcare – Involved in several stages of a seven stage chemical process to produce Buprenorphine, an opiate derivative substance, included in this operation is the use of Cyanide, Methyl Vinyl Ketone, Acetone and Diethylene Glycol. These chemicals were handled daily under strict “Stand- Down” conditions ensuring compliance with COSHH regulations.
