2012 – Present: Regional Facilities Manager – Royal Bank Of Scotland
Summary: - Recruited from supplier base to regional facilities manager of multiple occupied offices and total facilities ownership of the group’s critical cash & coin operation in the North of England and Scotland.
Responsibilities
Act as the building(s) owner by being accountable for all property operations services (BAU and change) within each property(s) and be the voice and face for wider Property Operations activity.
The gatekeeper for all projects within the properties from across the property operations team. Provide a safe and efficient workplace through managing the delivery of planned preventative
maintenance. Manage planed and reactive maintenance through the helpdesk and supply partners. Understand the property(s) by undertaking regular visual and formal audits. Respond to any property incidents to minimise impact on the customers or those serving our
customers. Contribute to ensuring that the service proposition remains sustainable, delivery is reviewed, and
challenged to identify further cost saving opportunities. Manage the portfolio’s performance and manage its running costs to achieve best value within
budget. Responsible for managing business division relationships within each property (s). Maintain “Voice

Ensure all changes in legislation and Group policy framework are implemented in the region and that any gaps are highlighted and resolved in accordance with guidelines.
2007 – 2012: Regional Security Manager (Royal Bank Of Scotland Contract) & Field Service Manager – G4S
Summary: - Management of a large security team for the North Region on the RBS contract. Recruited directly from this position to facilities manager due to success in this role. Previously a regional service manager managing a mobile team responding to alerts from Offenders electronic monitoring devices (Tags).
Responsibilities
Ensuring that all Standard Operational Procedures are adhered to and that contract compliance is maintained at all times.
Delivery of regions KPIs/SlA’s and targets and meeting critical timeslots. Ensuring the effective deployment of resources, to identify fault trends and to instigate remedial action
where necessary. Provision of effective leadership to promote and maintain good working relationships with Customers,
control centre and field officers. Provision of a healthy, safe and secure working environment. Motivation of branch staff to ensure individual job satisfaction and development. Responsible for the management and resourcing of work rosters, authorising holidays and managing

1994 – 2000: Line Manager – British Army (Royal Corps Of Signals)
Summary:- Troop and detachment commander for worldwide deployment of radio/satellite systems.

Accountable for all manning and equipment for twenty-three vehicle communication assets and manning, including the regular inspection of equipment for ensuring serviceability.
Supervision of a large team of personnel. Site, install, maintain and retract radio and satellite mobile/static communications sites. Responsible for the worldwide deployment of all personnel and assets at short notice, often in
challenging situations. Deployed on numerous operations world wide providing communications solutions. Provide security services in theatres such as Bosnia, Kosovo, Middle East, etc.

Successfully graduated as a ‘Radio Systems Engineer’. Attained high promotion responsible for numerous personnel on day-to-day duties.
