Life as God IntendedPart 21: Self Control
Galatians 5 v 22 - 25
What things control your life?
As a Christian, who should be in control of your life?
Self Control:
“The ability to decide what we will do and when we will do it”
“Choosing to do good, and choosing not to sin”
“As a Christian, am I free to sin?”
“Do I really need self control?”
“How do I handle temptation?”
“As a Christian, am I free to sin?”
“Do I really need self control?”
“How do I handle temptation?”
The Gospel – version 1
NO!
YES!
Try harder!
“As a Christian, am I free to sin?”
“Do I really need self control?”
“How do I handle temptation?”
The Gospel – version 2

The fruit of the Spirit is self control!
When you become a Christian you are freed from sin and given back your self control
