Steps to set up your SAM 2013 Challenge – BCIS 1305 test out account

First you must purchase the Access Code – ISBN: 978-1-285-73502-3 from the Bookstore for $23.65.

Then go to the following website: www.sam2013.cengage.com.

You will see the following information.

Click on New User

Then enter Institution Key – T2030335 and click Submit

Click OK for Coastal Bend College

Then enter your Access Key Code – This is what the student purchased from the Book Store. Then Click Save

Enter your personal information and set up your password and username. Make sure to write this down – so that you

will have this information when you come in to take the BCIS 1305 Test out exam.

Then you will see the following screen:

Click on I Agree

Go to Sections

Click on Join a Section and under the Join Section column in blue – across from BCIS 1305 Assessment – Fall 2015

You can click on the Study Center button in blue on the upper right hand side of the screen.
