Agency Overview
Create Infrastructure, the NSW Government’s cultural infrastructure program management office, is responsible for the successful delivery of significant cultural infrastructure projects like Powerhouse Parramatta, Walsh Bay Arts Precinct Redevelopment, Sydney Modern and many others in planning and delivery across NSW. We play a project sponsor role throughout the development and delivery of our projects, driving them through feasibility, planning and design development, and working closely with delivery partners during construction.
We are part of the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC), the lead central agency in the NSW Government, and sit within Create NSW. Create NSW works to deliver the Government’s priority of fostering excellence in arts, screen and culture in NSW.

Cultural Infrastructure – theatres, galleries, museums, libraries, archives, community halls, cinemas, public art and outdoor event spaces – brings culture into our communities and makes it accessible for all of us.
New South Wales is amid a once-in-a-generation renewal of its cultural infrastructure, delivering contemporary, relevant world-class infrastructure to strengthen the depth and quality of our cultural sector.
You will undertake a range of administrative tasks to support the delivery of cultural infrastructure projects, funding programs and precinct planning activities associated with the Government’s Cultural Infrastructure Plan 2025+.

Key accountabilities
Supporting the project team to complete tasks and implement project plans
Developing project documentation and preparing information for reports and presentations
Assisting with the coordination of committee papers and provision of secretariat services for meetings
Reporting on project progress at project team meetings
Contributing to the development of marketing and communications materials
Undertaking basic research and contributing to the preparation of briefs and other project documentation
Communicating with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and implementation issues
Identifying opportunities to improve project delivery
Essential requirements
Well-developed critical analysis and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and able to manage self
Intermediate to advanced level skills in standard office software applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook

Second last or final year of a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree
