    The Lynch Family Mission Newsletter

    Hello from Hungary!

We are so excited to write all of you! Why - you might ask??? Because this summer the Gospel was proclaimed, God was at

work stirring hearts, and many, many Hungarian youth accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior! Lives have been for-

ever changed! Lives that are now filled with hope and a future. Your support of our mission has made a difference!!!

Let us share with you the story of one camper whose life has been changed. Attila (not real name) age 14, was a camper

who lives in a broken home - in Canada of all places. His mother is full Hungarian and father is Canadian. This summer his

mother took him to visit relatives in Hungary for the first time. After a week she went back to Canada leaving Attila for the

summer in Hungary. His relatives knew of the camp and he was sent here for 3 consecutive weeks. He only speaks English.

He became very good friends with Danny and with our family. They were always together, like glue. As we grew to know

this very bright young man, we were able to talk about God, give our testimony, and discuss his life and his thoughts. We

knew he had not accepted Jesus. When given the opportunity he did not go forward and accept Jesus in week 1 He did not

go forward in week 2. We knew he had a lot of questions in his mind... Room leaders, counselors, volunteers from American

Churches who were coaching sports or teaching English all took an active part in prayer and in his life and in the lives of

many others in being gentle, loving lights that would point to Christ. As he heard the message and invitation for the third

time in as many weeks, something happened... his heart was stirred, and all of a sudden he looked over at Danny (who

was supposed to have his eyes closed). Daniel reached over and put his arm lovingly on his shoulder. Attila took a breath

and nodded his head in agreement, this without Danny saying a word. See, it wasnt Danny he was agreeing with, but with

his own heart and with the Holy Spirit at work in him. He then stood up, went forward, and gave his life to Christ. Praise

the Lord!!! In Gods perfect plan, He sent him all the way from Canada to Hungary and knew that 3 weeks is what Attila

needed here and God would use the love and witness of many, and even a 10 year old from America to play an important

role in his decision to accept Christ.

This story is not an isolated situation. Many, many, campers each week gave their testimonies, some of which were heart

wrenching, but all were so, so beautiful and so encouraging about what Jesus Christ has done in their life. God is using this

ministry to change lives. What a tremendous blessing it is to be a part of. It was a summer we will never forget.

Service in Czech Republic and Polandwith International Ministries

This summer we served with International Ministries teaching English andsports in Baptist churches in both the Czech Republic and Poland for one week

each. Both were structured very much like a VBS in the states. These weregreat opportunities in sharing and showing Christs love in these former Com-

    munist bloc nations.

In the Czech Republic we were able to teach a classroom sized group of chil-dren English in the morning, while in the afternoon we taught the older teenshow to play real American baseball followed by spending time with manyfamilies in fellowship. Matt had the opportunity to speak to the congregation about our testimony, shared from Gods word, and encouragedthem to step out in their faith :). He also was asked to speak a second time about our home church and the different ministries they havewhich was followed by a Q&A session which was fun and interesting. #1 question everywhere we go??? Why in the world would you leaveAmerica? Matts quick answer: Jesus Christ has turned my life upside down and I want to follow Him wherever He leads!!! Great week of shar-

ing Christs love, great week of fellowship with our new Czech family, great week of personal growth for us as we stepped out in faith.

In Poland we had a much bigger group and a much faster pace. Well over 120 children came to learn about God and English. We taught 5classes per day with all different age groups and ability. Through the week we witnessed many of them profess their faith in Jesus Christ and

they were so excited to show us their New Testaments they were given. We even met a Polish family who lives in America and came back toPoland to visit friends & family and heard about the churchs program. The mother brought her 2 children and they quickly became friends with

Danny and Cori while she helped us translate throughout the week. What an unexpected blessing to the ministry! To God be the Glory!
