Work Experience

RYANAIR, HEAD OFFICE SWORDS, CO. DUBLIN- FLIGHT OPERATIONS (SEP 2016- PRESENT)

- Part of an elite high performing operations centre which is responsible for the day to day management of the Ryanair schedule of over 1,800 flight per day covering the areas of Flight Planning, Crew Control, Maintenance Control, Ground Operations and Operations Control.

- Primary responsibility in Flight Planning to coordinate all flight plans (routing, fuel load, ensuring cost effectiveness, on time arrival etc.) for all daily flights and to analyse and solve problems which arise with certain plans in collaboration with ATC, Eurocontrol and other relevant bodies.

- Work as part of the Flight Planning Team and liaise with the whole Operations team to make the necessary changes and resolve issues which arise day to day due to issues of regulation, aircraft changes, aircraft technical problems, diversions, delays, crew issues etc. always to ensure the optimum utilization of all aircrafts and resources.

- Working with various software applications to monitor, develop, resolve and implement whilst continuously recording and compiling all information and data into the relevant documents.

SKY HANDLING PARTNER, DUBLIN AIRPORT- LEAD AGENT (TEAM LEADER), (JULY- SEP 2016).

- Promoted to Team Leader position to be responsible for and oversee the tasks involved in ground operations in passenger and cargo aircraft turnarounds.

- Responsible for the planning and execution of all tasks involved in a fast paced and highly pressurised environment within specific time frames.

- Delegation of tasks to all team members before and during the operation to ensure a highly organised, safe and timely process.

- As Team Leader, Communication was essential from all members within my team. I had to establish this whilst also working to constantly create a positive environment with motivated team members so that we worked together on the same wave length.

- Liaise with Flight Dispatcher, Check-In Staff, Duty Manager, Ramp Supervisor and Flight Crew in an open and professional manner to ensure smooth operation and the highest quality service to our airlines and passengers.

SKY HANDLING PARTNER, DUBLIN AIRPORT- AIRCRAFT SERVICE AGENT, (MAY 2014-JUNE 2016).

- Loaded, stowed and unloaded baggage, cargo and freight, and submitted completed documentation to management, accurately on time.

- Maintained a friendly, positive attitude when dealing with distressed passengers.- Communicated with Ramp Supervisor, Flight Dispatcher and fellow Ramp Agents to ensure that all operations

were done safely, on time and without error.- Worked constantly in teams of between 2-12 people and have been given Team Leader responsibilities on a

regular basis.

PINECROFT NURSERIES, MALAHIDE ROAD- ASSISTANT MANAGER, (2008-2014)

- Organized and supervised activities in the packing warehouse ensuring all orders were processed, packaged and distributed correctly, on time and of the highest quality.

- Drove through a culture of communication and team work with fellow employees to ensure effective and timely processing, packaging and distribution of product.
