SCOLA has a database of videos from around the world capturing life in foreign countries, eight channels of streaming international television, and much more! SCOLA’s mission is to help the people of the world learn about one another: their cultures, their languages and their ideologies. You can watch streaming international television, "on the street" videos, country introduction videos, and more. Use the SCOLA database to practice your skills in a foreign language, learn about international news, or connect with home. To access SCOLA:

Step 1: Get Started Visit the Dickinson County Library homepage,

www.dcl-lib.org. Navigate to the Resources page. Scroll down the page, and click the SCOLA link.

Step 2: Watch Videos The SCOLA homepage will appear, with Dickinson County Library indicated at the top. This means you are logged in, and can freely access any of the content on the SCOLA site!
