The best steel, in the right quantity, at the right time, at the right place: Steel distribution is a key aspect of your supply chain management. With our large warehousing capacity, comprehensive assortment and efficient logistical system, we ensure that your supply chain never breaks down.
The business unit distribution at KNAUF INTERFER comprises the stock holding, distribution and product related processing of steel products. Our portfolio of long and flat products, as well as pipes and tubes ranges from rail profiles designed for highest loads to delicate precision tubes for the automotive industry. Our Interfer Technik products – ranging from construction elements, all kinds of wire products, to tools and machines – round off our assortment. Fast and on-time delivery to our customers throughout Germany is assured not only by the large stocks we hold, but also by innovative logistics
solutions. Twenty-metre lengths under truck canvas cover, for instance, are routine loads for us thanks to our special vehicles.

We supply all standard and special long products in best quality, with customised preprocessing and in a multitude of intermediate sizes.
Long products

Our range comprises different grades of round, square, angular, strip and flat steel products as well as U-section steel, T-section steel and wide flat steel in different preprocessing grades.
Hot-rolled and cold-profiled profiles including single-purpose profiles individually produced from customer drawings.
Special profiles for fork-lift trucks and combined bearings as solutions for vertical and horizontal operation.
Superstructure High-grade and engineering steel
Light and heavy flat bottom and crane rails, and fastening materials, for extreme loads and a long service life.
A wide range of alloyed and non-alloyed steels in controlled purities for special requirements: rolled, peeled, forged and pre-turned.

We deliver heavy plates in the following dimensions: thickness 6–300 mm, width up to 3,500 mm, length up to 16,000 mm. They are available in the following versions:

We guarantee the highest quality and tightest tolerances through our company’s own test lab. Modern, efficient warehouse logistics ensure fast and reliable delivery. The broad spectrum of products is supplemented by extensive steel processing certified according to DIN EN 1090.

KNAUF INTERFER offers a variety of steel and precision steel pipes. An extensive range of qualities and dimensions is available in two central distribution centres in Voerde and Düsseldorf in 80,000 m² of warehouse space.

The business unit distribution comprises areas of warehousing and distribution of steel products – also including numerous special products, such as quality and high grade steels as well as product-related processing. Our extensive warehousing capacity guarantees our customers just-intime deliveries to anywhere in Germany as well as the close-by European countries.
We support our customers throughout the process as a supplier of systems for demanding profiles and prefabricated parts that are made from extruded aluminium alloys. We develop individual and innovative solutions together with our customers in a professional dialogue about the utilised material and the required product.
The core competence of our steel processing can be found in thermal cutting, mechanical processing as well as chamfering and rolled forming. With help of sophisticated processes including flame cutting plasma and laser cutting we are able to produce top quality components.
This means custom-made in all surface variations and high-precision products from a single source. Our steel service centres combine the local strengths and expertise in processing and logistics of five equally traditional as well as innovative locations in one business unit.
In the business unit cold rolling, we bundle decades of experience in producing high-quality cold-rolled and surface refined steel strips. In very modern plants, we manufacture cold-rolled strips in the thinnest dimensions and widths of up to 1,040 millimetres with the tightest tolerances.
