1 . I am final y ear student/My final y ear/Semester result is not y et declared. Am I

eligible to apply ?

Ans. Yes, those candidates who are study ing in the final y ear (academic y ear 201 1 - 1 2)

and would be expecting their final results by July , 201 2 can apply for the post(s).

Howev er, they will hav e to produce their final certificate of eligibility qualification at

the time of interv iew.

2. Can a candidate hav ing AMIE apply for MT (Tech) post?

Ans. No, only departmental candidates of SAIL with AMIE /equiv alent degree are

eligible to apply in their respectiv e discipline.

3 . My father is SAIL employ ee, can I apply as departmental candidate?

Ans. No, only the present regular employ ees of SAIL can apply as Departmental
