Total process controlTo ensure the security of its high reprocessing capacity, the CSSD can relie on device monitoring, event tracking and reusable medical instrument management system, which allow the detail of the tracked set of instruments, up to the detail of each single instrument. These advanced features are some of the characteristics of the SteelcoData and SteelcoData Pro software.

The main advantages in the treatment of reusable medical devices/instruments within a CSSD dept. can be traced to the following reasons: safety thanks to the highly specialized personnel involved in the operations; economy for to the reduced need of staff employer in the CSSD and to the fast return on the investment; the reduced environmental impact thanks to the new applied technologies.

Steelco has developed a full range of high capacity autoclaves to get the perfect solution for any central sterilization supply department or theatre sterile supply unit. The most outstanding features of these sterilizers are: versatility, easy handling, high performance and reliability.

From the processing of a single STU up to 18 STU per cycle, each model of our full range of steam sterilizers combines high productivity with cost efficiency: an effective solution to improve the economy of the CSSD.

Standard compliantThe Steelco sterilizers autoclaves are designed and constructed to comply with the latest guidelines: 93/42/EEC and its revised version, 97/23/EC, EN 285, EN ISO 14971, EN ISO 17665-1, IEC EN 61010-1, IEC EN 61010-2-040, IEC EN 60601-1-6, EN 61326-1, HTM 2010.

Saving system energy

The sterilization cycle has been specifically conceived to reduce time and energy consumption, thus improving the efficiency of the phases before and after sterilization.

During the initial stage, the repeated pulses allows to gain the vacuum status much faster in order to reach an homogeneous chamber saturation.

During the final stage, the fractional vacuum phase makes it possible to better extract steam and water waste, thus reducing the drying activity while maintaining high performances.

Steelco VS SeriesSmall and medium capacity autoclaves

With an innovative high performance sterilizing technology, the new Steelco autoclaves are characterized by a chamber completely made of stainless steel AISI 316L and entirely covered by a full jacket system.

The insulation is guaranteed by an innovative and practical textile covering.

This new chamber design guarantees excellent performances during the sterilization cycles optimizing and reducing water and steam consumption.

- external clean steam supply (type V)- built-in electrically heated steam generator (type E)- built-in industrial steam heated steam generator (type I)- built-in mixed electrical/industrial steam steam generator (type E/I)- combining steam generators and external steam sources on request (type E/V, I/V...)

Steam feeding systems:

Sterilization chamber from 2 to 3 STU

Sterilization chamber from 1 to 2 STU

Sterilization chamber from 4 to 12 STU

Test/service programmes: heating, Bowie & Dick, vacuum test, Helix test.

Working programmes at 121°C and 134°C / 249,8°F and 273,2°F for textiles, instruments, rubbers.

Process cycle and factory programmed according to EN 285.

State of the art, high capacity autoclave to ensure excellent performances even during productivity peaks.

This steam sterilizer is characterized by a great flexibility, thanks to standard and customized cycle programmes, in an effort to gain the best results and optimize time, energy and resources.

The new Steelco autoclaves are characterized by a rectangular chamber, completely made of AISI 316L stainless steel and entirely covered by a full jacket system.

The insulation is ensured by AISI 304 stainless steel covering sheet. Insulation of chamber exterior reduces the heat loss and the noise level into the surrounding area.

Steelco components range includes useful accessories to improve the efficiency of the CSSD, such as transfer and storage tables as well as motorized transfer trolleys with adjustable height, conveyors and pass-through hatches.

Thanks to a combined technology of extractors and motorized rollers, Steelco loading\unloading automations are really compact.As a result, the whole installation benefits from the reduced dimensions.
