IMPORTANT

Alwaysensurethatthecleanerisinthefixeduprightpositionandthatthepowerplugisremovedfromthepowersupplybeforecleaningyourappliance,whennotinuse,orattemptinganymaintenancetask.Thiscleanershouldonlybeusedforitsintendedpurposeasdescribedintheseinstructions.

PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES:

1. Donotoperatethesteammoptooclosetoheaters,radiatorsorotherhotsurfaces.

2. Beforeinsertingthepowerplugintothepowersupply,makesureyourhandsaredry.

Yoursteammopisdesignedtocleanhardflooringsuchasceramictiles,vinyl,laminate,marble,stoneandsealedhardwoodfloors.Useofyoursteammoponwaxedorsomeunwaxedfloorsmayresultinadiminishedgloss.

Thesteammopisnotforuseonunsealedwoodfloors.Forthebestresultstestinaninconspicuousareaandcheckthecareinstructionsfromyourflooringmanufacturer.

15. Ensurethatthecleanerisfixedintheuprightpositionbeforeunpluggingthepowerplugfromthepowersupply.Removethepowerplugfromthepowersupplyandhandlethecleanerwithcarewhenfillingthewatertankwithwater.

16. Do notoverfillthewatertank.

17. Do notusethecleanerwithoutthewatertankcapinplace.Checkthatthewatertankcapiscompletelyclosedbeforeuse.

18. Do notoperatethecleanerwithoutwaterinthewatertank.

22. Theforceandheatofthesteammayhaveanadverseeffectonsomematerials.Alwaystestthecleaneronasmallconcealedareatodetermineifitissuitablefortreatment.

23. Accessoriesbecomehotduringuse.Allowthemtocooldownbeforehandlingthem.

24. Useonlythemanufacturer’srecommendedattachments.Useof

25. Neverpointoraimthesteamcleaneratpeople,animalsorplants.

27. Connectingthesteamcleanertoimpropervoltagemayresultindamagetothesteamcleanerandpossibleinjury.

28. Donotusesteamcleaneriftherearevisiblesignsofdamageorifitisleaking.

29. Donotusethecleaneronleather,waxpolishedfurnitureorfloors,syntheticfabrics,velvetorotherdelicate,steamsensitivematerials.

30. Neverputdescaling,aromatic,alcoholicordetergentproductsintothewatertank,asthismaydamagethecleanerormakeitunsafeforuse.

WARNING: Danger of scalding. Please use the steam mop with caution. The steam emitted from the steam mop is very hot.

CAUTION: Recently cleaned surfaces may be hot, please avoid contact.

Assembling

1. Insertthehandleintothemainbodyuntilitlocksintoposition.

2. Insertthemainbodyintothemopheadensuringthatitclicksintoplace.

3. Securethemopheadtothemainbodywiththescrewprovided,asshown.

4. Attachthemoppadontothebaseofthemophead.

IMPORTANT! The appliance should be disconnected from the power supply before you start to assemble.

Instruction for Use

Before You Begin Cleaning1. Unscrewthewatertankcapandfillthewater

tankwithcooltapwaterbyusingtherefillcupprovided.

2. Ensurethatthecleanerisstandingverticallyandinthefixedposition.Withyourfootplacedontothemopheadpushthehandleforwardtoplacethecleanerintothefixedposition.

3. AdjusttheheightoftherodbypressingtheHeightAdjustmentButton.Ensurethepowercableissecuredintothecablehook.

IMPORTANT: Do not operate the cleaner over the power cable.

4. Plugthepowerplugintothepowersupply.TheLEDlightonthemainbodywillilluminatewhenthecleanerisreadyforcleaning.

Note: Upon initial use, please allow the water to flow through the system for approximately 30 seconds to prime the unit.

Attention: DO NOT refill the tank when the mop is connected to mains power supply. Only refill the water tank with cold tap water.

WARNING: Hard floor wax may be removed by the heat and steam action. Do not use the cleaner on unsealed wood floors or operate the cleaner in a stationary position for an extended period of time.

1. Placethecleanerontothecarpetglider.

2. Plugthecleanerintothepowersupply.

3. Withyourfootplacedontothefloorhead,pullthehandlebackwardstounlockthecleaner.Thecleanerwillemitsteamintheunlockedposition.

5. Withyourfootplacedontothefloorheadpushthehandleforwardtolockthecleaner.Thecleanerwillstopemittingsteaminthelockedposition.

4. Movethecleanerslowlybackwardsandforwardspayingparticularattentiontohightrafficareas.

MaintenanceWARNING! The appliance should be in the fixed position and disconnected from the power supply before performing any maintenance tasks.

IMPORTANT: Always ensure that cleaner has cooled before performing any maintenance tasks.

1. Removethewatertankcap.

2. Emptyanyexcesswaterfromthewatertank.

Fault Solutions

The cleaner will not produce steam.

1. Ensure that the cleaner is plugged into the power supply and that the cleaner is in the unlocked position.

2. Ensure that the water tank is filled with cold water.

3. Remove the water tank cap and reinstall the water tank cap securely.

The cleaner leaves too much water on the floor.

1. Replace with a dry mop pad.

Your OPTIM Steam Mop, in the case ofdomesticuse,hasa 1yearpartsand labourwarrantyagainstproductdefectsandfailureswhentheproductisusedinaccordancewiththe terms and conditions of this warrantystatement.

Thiswarrantycommences from theoriginaldate of purchase and is not transferable;pleaseretainyouroriginalproofofpurchasefor any warranty claims. This warranty isvalid only in the country where the cleanerispurchased.

Thecleanermustbeoperatedinaccordancewith these instructions and used onlyfor domestic household cleaning. Thiscleaner isnotfittobeusedasan industrialcleaner, hence will void the manufacturer’swarrantyifusedinappropriately.Accessoriesand consumables, unless defective inmanufacture,arenotsubjecttothiswarranty.
