THREE people have died in accidents at abandoned mine sites in Pennsylvania

April 10 – A 50-year old man from Melcroft died when his ATV overturned and crushed him while he was backing down a hill.

May 8 – A Bentleyville couple died when their ATV plunged over a 60-foot cliff at a mine waste pile.
