The Summer and Winter University of the Language Teaching Center of the University of Freiburg offers you a
chance to learn German across the closed borders. Improve your language skills, regional expertise and cultural
competence during our four-week Virtual German Course in Freiburg.
The interactive online language course (Beginner, A1, A2) is delivered by experienced German teachers. In small
groups you can deepen and expand your oral and written German skills with the help of multiple conversation
exercises, current listening and reading texts and modern grammar tasks. Due to intensive group training as well as
regular personal coaching, you will be able to make quick progress in German language learning.
For you to get an idea about German lifestyle and the everyday life of the popular student city in the southwest of
the country, we have prepared several virtual walking tours. By watching our films and real-time guided tours, you
will be able to “walk around” Freiburg and its surroundings from the comfort of your own home. Immerse yourself
in this exciting world and gain intercultural experience, which will broaden your horizons.
