HUNTERSVILLE, NC:

On Sunday, March 24, 2013 the Huntersville Police Department arrested John MichaelTurner, W/M, DOB: 5/18/1969 of Glengarrie Lane, Huntersville. A report was filed with the

Huntersville Police Department that suggested Mr. Turner may have had inappropriatecontact with a 13-year-old female. During the course of the investigation it was determinedthat Mr. Turner had sexual intercourse with the victim. While being questioned byHuntersville Detectives, Mr. Turner confessed to the crimes. Mr. Turner was arrested and isbeing held in the Mecklenburg County Jail. Additional charges may be sought at a laterdate.

Mr. Turner was arrested on the following charges:

1. Statutory Rape of a Person who is 13,14 or 15 years old2. Statutory Sexual Offense against a person who is 13, 14 or 15 years old.
