It gives us pleasure to inform you that The Textile Association (India), Mumbai Unit is organising International Textile Conference on “Make in India – Global Vision of Indian Textile Industry” on December 1-2, 2016 at Hotel the Lalit, Mumbai, India.

This Conference will show how the 'Make in India' mission is going to help the Indian Textile Industry and how the global brands/retailers are looking to the Indian Textile Industry. Many state governments launched their special textile policies. Many state governments like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, etc have taken initiative and have re-launched policies to promote the textile industry.

The leaders of the Indian textile industry will put forward their vision, expectations and requirements in this conference. The challenges before other textile ancillary businesses like manufacturers of cotton, man-made fibre, textile machinery and dyes/chemicals will also be covered in this Conference. The focal point of the conference will be whether large quantities of technical textiles for infrastructure developments can be manufactured in India instead of importing them from abroad. We are expecting around 500 delegates to participant in this conference.
