As part of the bookclosing process for fiscal year 2006, I am hereby transmitting two workproject lists for your information and review.

1. The first attachment summarizes the specific appropriation year (AY) 2006 line itemappropriations designated as work projects by law (i.e., statutory work projects).

2. The second attachment summarizes the AY 2006 line-item appropriations which Irecommend be designated as work projects under the provisions of Section 451a(3) ofthe Management and Budget Act, 1984 PA 431, MCL 18.1451a (i.e., non-statutorywork projects). These designations may be disapproved by either AppropriationsCommittee within 30 days after the date of notification and, if disapproved within thattime period, shall not be effective.
