Sir,

As you are aware of the additional work load and its enormous magnitude that our members especially Assistant

Engineers to Superintending Engineers presently undergo during implementation of projects in spite of being

stretched and fatigued. Moreover, as an esteemed member of our Association, you had been an integral part of

our decade long demand for cadre review and re-structuring.

In view of this, we would like to thank the Government and the higher officials of our departmentfor considering

our logical and legitimate demand and do the much needed restructuring with judiciously increasing all the posts

of P.W.D.We had welcomed this restructuring process whole heartedly.

However to our dismay, it is observed that there is little progress towards implementation of this restructuring

process although the same need to be completed within 30/06/2020. We apprehend that it will not be possible to

completely implement this restructuring with necessary postings within 30/06/2020 in this present casual,

negligent and slow attitude of functioning.

The members are crying for a fair and reasonable work load for smooth and efficient execution of duties and

responsibilities. Also,if implemented within30/06/2020, most of the members shall be benefitted through career

advancement.

At this moment, the Association cannot be a silent spectator of the present scenario and urge you to kindlyintervene into the matter to ensure that bottlenecks, if any, are removed and the restructuring with necessary

allied postings is implemented within 30/6/2020. This would ensure that our Engineer brothers are not deprived oftheir legitimate and rightful expectations and opportunities. This Association is ready and willing to extend its

utmost cooperation, if required and requested. We would also like to take this opportunity to convey a date of

meeting with our members at your convenient time and location to discuss in this matter across the table.

We hope, you will look into this matter with due gravity and take all possible steps so that the restructuring

process alongwith all relevant promotion orders of Engineer Officers are issuedwithin so". June, 2020.
