Getting to New York via A irplane: There are three choices related to

Manhattan. Located in Queens, John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) is 15 miles from midtown Manhattan. Over 29 million passengers pass through JFK annually. Located in New Jersey, Newark Liberty Airport (EWR) is 16 miles from midtown Manhattan. Over 30 million passengers pass through Newark Airport annually. Located in Queens,

LaGuardia Airport (LGA) is eight miles from midtown Manhattan and handles 1,000 takeoffs and landings daily, making it smaller and

sometimes easier to get in and out of. G round Transportation: Take the quick and easy subway. $2.50 subway fares one-way to any Manhattan location is the cheapest way tget to your destination. The MetroCard is $2.50 one-way, or $30 for the seven day unlimited card.

Taxis are the typical way to get around town. Taxis are available outside of every terminal and there is typically a taxi stand where you will be directed to a taxi. Taxis from any of the airports to any Manhattan location will run approximately $50-$75. Weather : Fall, September, October and November is some of the most pleasant months in New York. The air is crisp and clear, and the sun shines often. Pack light slacks and long sleeve tops. Highs typically are 65, and fall lows are about 50. Winter gets very cold and very windy. Snow can also make walking slippery and your clothes may get wet. Pack heavy, warm and waterproof clothing and shoes. Average high is about 40 while the low reaches 33. Spring is often quite pleasant with highs in the low-60s, and lows hovering around 40. Summer

Recommendations for a Business Meeting Landmark Tavern: Opened in 1868 the refurbished space is antiquarian in style; inlaid tile floor, tin ceilings, beveled mirrors, carved mahogany paneling, and a tremendous bar made from one piece of wood. There is a private upstairs dining room with its soft green walls but it is the beautifully restored wood, brass and brick of the original tavern which is the calling card and a true piece of New York history.
