Coast Guard Coast Guard Aviation Outlook Aviation Outlook

A very dynamic environment exists

• We can expect new missions such as the National Capital Region and the LADC.

• New aircraft such as the C130J and CN235 (Casa) will enter service in the next couple of years greatly modernizing the aviation fleet. These aircraft will possess the latest in interoperability capabilities to closely tie legacy CG assets and new DHS assets.

• Together WE will ensure that during the next several years, all mission areas and sister communities are provided the maximum support possible from Coast Guard Aviation
