This effect lasts for up to 12 days. Mane and tail remain tangle-free and the coat keeps glossy for that time – guaranteed. During that time Equistar® repels dirt and dust. Your horseis perfectly groomed and cared for – with a fascinating shine and a coat like velvet. Trust theoriginal!

If you use Equistar® only for mane and tail, the results are awesome – Equistar®’s effect hasnot been known so far from other products. Equistar® entangles mane and tail without any effort. Pre-washing and time-consuming disentangling of the tail are unnecessary. Detanglingtakes place automatically after drying. With Equistar® there will be almost no loss of tail hairbecause of brushing and disentangling the tail. Grass stains on greys are a matter of the past. Even persistent sweat crusts are removed with a few strokes of the brush. Daily grooming timeis considerably reduced, however the horse has a wonderful sheen.

In summer the yellow eggs of the warble fly cannot stick to the coat any longer thanks toEquistar®.

In winter the ugly and uncomfortable blanket chafed areas on the shoulders can be avoided inmost cases.

If Equistar® is applied before clipping the blades are spared and the clipper head will not overheat quickly. The coat must be absolutely dry before clipping!

Equistar® is non-toxic, pH-balanced and very skin-friendly. Skin breathing is not reduced. Skinand hair are mildly cared for. The natural skin and hair health is supported. That’s why Equistar®

can also be used on very sensitive or outside horses and ponies. Equistar® can be easily washed off with shampoo. It does not smear.

Application:

Preliminary washing of the horse is not necessary. Spray Equistar® sparingly on the dry or wet coat or long hair.Let it dry completely and then brush over with a soft brush. Please always wait until the hair is really completely dry.If not, Equistar® cannot develop its full effect!

Equilux® Quick cleanser for coat, mane and tail For quick cleaning – ideal for greys and other light-coloured horses

Equilux® quick cleanser is a unique product for grooming. It makes possible to clean coat, maneand tail within a few minutes but without the well-known disadvantages. No need to wash thehorse before application. That makes Equilux® an ideal product for the cold time of the year orif the horse is prone to get a cold.

The unpopular yellow stains on greys or the dust layer on dark coats are immediately gone.Equilux® saves a lot of grooming time. It dries quickly and does neither smear nor smell. The active agents remove stains e.g. manure stains or discolorations made by grass or dirt andcreate an ultra shiny coat and long hair. In addition the hair gets dirt-repellent for some time.

For nervous horses or for stain removal in the horse’s face Equilux® is available as a stain roller in a little bottle. The stain roller is ideal for taking with you, e.g. to a horse show.

Spray Equimin® sparingly onto the areas to be protected or use a sponge. Application:

Equistop® is ready to use. Paint or spray richly on the surfaces and objects you want toprotect. If it’s necessary, the application can be repeated. If Equistop® is applied on thetail, it must be washed out with Equigold® Premium or Equiclean® Robust &Sensitive horse shampoo prior to the next disentangling of the tail.

Note:

If by mistake a little bit of Equistop® should have got into your mouth, the bitter taste willvanish by chewing a piece of chocolate.

Equidoux® Ointment against rubbing

For coat, mane and tail

Here it is, our remedy against rubbing - revolutionary and kind to the skin!Equidoux® is a tincture against the rubbing of coat, mane and tail unless it is caused by a disease. It is a quick and reliable remedy against chafed docks and crests. It quickly puts an endto the problem of itchy feathers with many compact baroque-type breeds or outside horses andponies, so that they can relax and give up their constant stamping. Equidoux® is a mild careproduct with extraordinarily soothing properties. Due to the caring components the formationof dandruff is reduced. When you use Equidoux® for skin care, the skin is much more insensitive to external influences that could cause itching. That’s why Equidoux® also increasesthe well being of sweet-itch horses. If it is used regularly, many of these horses do not showtheir well-known problems in summer any longer. Competitive riders too appreciate Equidoux®.It prevents their horses from getting brittle hair even if their mane is often plaited and dry.

Equidoux® can be used before or after plai-ting. The mane is immediately elastic andsupple again. At the end of the competitiveseason the mane will be as full and thick asat the beginning.

Equistop® Anti-chew spray

Protects everything from chewing horses and ponies thanks to the bitterest substance known to man.

Non-toxic, clear and non-fragranced; can also be used on the tail of broodmares.

It is the bitterest active agent known to man that makes this anti-chewing fluid so effective. Dueto its optimum combination of active agents Equistop® can be used on all surfaces where horses chew including bandages, blankets, wood etc. It also stops cribbing. However, if you havea crib-biter you should try to avoid the cause for this vice and change his living conditions first.Equistop® should only be used in addition to a change of his life style.

Equistop® is also a great help in the rearing of foals, e.g. it can be sprayed onto the dam’s tailin order to stop the foal from chewing it. Equistop® is non-fragranced, clear and absolutely non-toxic. It is non-staining and even if usedon a regular basis, it is completely harmless to animal, man and environment.

Application:

If possible apply (spray or squirt) Equidoux® several times a day onto the itchyparts, e.g. dock, crest or coat and rub in gently. We recommend using a plastic currycomb or a dandybrush to make sure that Equidoux® gets through thelong hair to the skin. The effect is immediate.

Equitherm® Thermal wrapsFor cooling or heating without moisture

Relaxing heat or refreshing coolness - reusable Equitherm® thermal wraps are ideal for coolingor heating your horse’s legs. The cooling or heating effect lasts for several hours. Due to theiranatomical shape they fit remarkably well. Two attached Velcro straps make fastening easy. Forcleaning simply hose off or wash the thermal wraps.

Equitherm® thermal wraps will neither soften nor damage the skin and no hair loss will occur,which was often the case using other methods.

Equibona®

Protective natural care balm for the skin

Many bacteria that cause skin problems have no chance on a soft and well cared forskin.

Equibona® effectively protects and cares for skin and coat of the horse.This carefully developed care balm is produced from purely natural raw materials. Equibona®

is an irreplaceable care product for e.g. lips, corner of the mouth, bend of pastern, dock, crestand chafed areas. Its use is almost unlimited. Equibona® reliably protects the bend of pasternfrom moisture and irritating stable muck. It makes the skin soft and supple and restores its elasticity in a very short time. A cared for skin like this is more resistant to skin problems and soreness. Young horses are better accustomed to the unfamiliar bit. Equibona® is also a wonderful care product for theudder of broodmares. The balancing and regulating moisture care prevents from itching due to irritated, dry or softened skin.

You can also use Equibona® for your family, e.g. for the hands, elbows and irritated skin.

For cooling and heating!

Heating: Equitherm® thermal wraps are simply put in warm water (up to 80 °C) or into the microwavefor 30 seconds until the desired temperature is reached.

Cooling:For cooling purposes Equitherm® thermalwraps are put into the fridge for somehours. However, avoid freezing as plastic and foil might becomehard and brittle and could evenbreak if the temperature is toolow. Should the wrap be frozen,do not flex or stretch it but let itslowly melt again.

Note:If the temperature is too high or too low for the horse, you can put a cloth under the thermal wrap. For better fastening and increased protectionfrom damage you can put a bandage over the thermal wrap. An additionalbandage pad over the thermal wrap extends the application time due to better insulation.

The thermal gel is absolutely non-toxic.

Of course, the rider him/herself can use Equitherm®, too.

6 Protection and care

Application:

Apply to the skin and if necessary rub in gently. Thanks to its caring properties Equibona® can also beapplied in a thick layer on the areas that sweet-itch horses have already chafed sore. The thick layermakes it impossible for insects to sit on the irritated skin.

Equigel® Cooling and soothing gel No camphor – no doping

Equigel® is produced according to the SOFT-SLIDE-PLUS method developed by us (it sticks tothe coat and does not run down). It is a deep-care product for cooling and refreshing the horse’s legs after exertion. Its deep action is quick, reliable and long lasting. The carefully selected cooling ingredients and the aromatic oils well known for their caring properties givethe horse soothing refreshment right after application. This refreshment improves the blood circulation and a very effective relaxation of muscles, tendons and joints starts. The refreshing and reactivating components of Equigel® are easilynoticeable. You can use Equigel® before or after an exertion and the effect is quick and reliable. Despite its deep action Equigel® contains no camphor and can be used for competitionhorses, too.

Equigel® is absolutely non-toxic .

Application:

First make sure that the areas where you want to apply Equigel® are clean and absolutely free of any otherremedies or drugs. Apply Equigel® and rub in gently.For a long lasting effect apply richly a second layer. Thanks to the SOFT-SLIDE-PLUS method Equigel® sticks to the coat without running down and stays on thecoat even as a thick layer. Do not use a bandage after application. In case of a long-term use the skin shouldbe washed with Equigold® Premium shampoo now and then. Before the next application the skin shouldbe completely dry again.

Equigel® must not be applied to mucous membranes or irritated skin.

Note: The rider can use Equigel® for him/herself and his/her family, e.g. for a seized-up back. You will be fascinated by the relaxing and soothing effect of Equigel®.

Whether too soft or too hard - Equidura® hoof balm controls the horn moisture of any hoof.

Quickstar® a phosphate-free re-greasing special detergent, is especially designed for delicatefabrics, as e.g. leather or leather-coated clothes. It is ideal for washing leatherjackets, motorcycle clothes, breeches, car seat, baby and other fleeces, silk, wool, neoprene, special high-tech fabrics and micro-fibres.

Quickstar® washes your breathable and waterproof horse rugs without them losing their special properties. Down-filled jackets, sleeping bags and bedclothes can be washed without any problems orgoing lumpy. Woollens won’t become felted. They look like new after washing.

Quickstar® can also be used as a very mild detergent for all other laundry.

Application:

Quickstar® is suitable for hand or machine washing. In case of machine washing use the programme for delicate fabrics up to 30 °C. Or see manufacturer’s washing instructions in the garment. Quickstar® cleans your washing even in thecold-wash programme. Use short spin cycle for machine washables, no spinning for neoprene. Quickstar®

is very economic in use. A maximum of about three spoonfuls per washing will do.

Hand washing: Don’t wring, only squeeze out lightly. Let the washing dry completely at room temperature.You can take away the typical drying stiffness of the leather by tumbling it. Down can be dried at low temperature (up to 50 °C) until it is just slightly damp (= rotary iron dry on the setting of the tumbler). Shakewell after drying.
