P U R P O S E O F T H E D O C U M E N T This document aims at allowing a quick understanding of the TDFA service running on the transfer host into dealership. It describes a simple and sequential procedure to install the service and test its configuration. The user of this document is supposed to know in a global way the TDFA solution.

1 TECHNICAL PREREQUISITES

1.1 OPERATING SYSTEM

The supported operating systems are Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 r2, 2016 and 2019. The Windows account used to perform installation must have Administrator rights with registry access.

1.2 SOFTWARE

TDFA service includes: Java Runtime Environment with release 1.8.0_131 compliant with TLS 1.2 protocol. This software can be downloaded from Renault net portal (https://dcs.renault.com/ ), in the “IS/IT Advices” publication. You must subscribe to this publication to download binaries and users_guides. For importers only, this software can be downloaded from RNI Homepage (https://mdx.renault.com/mdx/). Please contact your Renault interlocutor. The user can’t install this product in the directory he wants :

Path mandatory is C: \TDFA for this Application and C:\MASTER for technical certificate source and compilation script (same folder using by TLD and A2A)

1.3 NETWORK

Internet must be accessible from TDFA local host and usage of port 443 to access internet must be allowed (domain : *.renault.com) For DMS : If you use share files with FTP IIS on the folder dcs-repository, FTP port must be allowed on the Windows firewall (port 21).

1.4 TDFA BOX FOR SEVERAL DEALERS

This TDFA version works with only one TDFA technical certificate per locale instance. If you have several dealers, you must to configure TDFA BOX attachment in the Renault net Subtool.

You decide the main TDFA BOX with ID BIR defined as Master for TDFA. After you define all the slave Dealer who must be attached to the main TDFA BOX. For example:

In this case, the main TDFA BOX is : 00000714 The Dealer site 000000886 is attached to the main site 714. You must to use the TDFA technical Certificate on the Dealer 714

2 INSTALLATION

2.1 OBTAINING THE PACKAGE

The new installation in English version only includes 2 components :

- TDFA installation - RPATCH installation (mandatory for Renault net local software TDFA, A2A, TLD)

You must have technical certificate before installing these software. Abide by specific recommendations about the TDFA certificate : Only one TDFA technical certificate with TDFA V7. Use the Box TDFA attachment in the Renault Subtool. For importers only, TDFA package and documentation will be sent by your TDFA Renault interlocutor.

2.2 BEFORE INSTALLATION

Before executing installation file, you must stop OLD TDFA service running on the host and uninstall previous version. Delete all old TDFA tasks in Windows Scheduler. If you do not do that, installation process fails.

2.3 INSTALLATION’S STEPS

Execute the installation file Setup_TDFA_EN.exe

2.3.1 ACCEPT THE EULA

Click on Install to continue the Setup.

2.3.2 INSTALLING THE CONTENTS

The following screen displays the details of the files extraction:

2.3.3 END OF THE INSTALLATION

After extraction, a DOS window lists the steps of the end of the installation:

You must to choice witch schedule do you want :

1- TDFA Schedule for Dealer with requests during the day and the night (see chapter 2.3.4)

2- TDFA Schedule for Agency with requests during the night (see chapter 2.3.4)

If you have a proxy between TDFA and Internet Connexion, you must to enter Proxy data in the following file (c:\master\proxy.dat)

Enter at least >>> PROXYHOST = your proxy IP or proxy Hostname PROXYPORT = your proxy TCP Port

Save the file and quit notepad to continue TDFA setup.

At this step, copy your TDFA technical certificate in the folder c:\master and press a key to continue. Reminder : Only one TDFA technical certificate with TDFA V7. Use the Box TDFA attachment in the Renault Subtool (see chapter 1.4).

Enter the password for your technical certificate.

The installer automatically generates the TDFA task schedule :

After installing TDFA, the system prompts you to install R-Patch.

If R-Patch is not already installed, you must install it with the RPH technical certificate. Consult RPatch Installation Guide. If R-Patch is already installed, you can cancel this setup.

2.3.4 SCHEDULE CONFIGURATION FOR TDFA

The default planner is based on the table below : This default Settings is good enough for Renault dealerships (Primary Network) We recommend don’t add task during the day

First line : DAY FLOW All day requests (up and down) between 07:00 AM and 18:00 PM with frequency of 15 minutes Second to seventh line : NIGHT FLOW Two requests (up and down) nightly Four requests (up and down) early morning This default Settings is good enough for Renault Agency (Secondary Network)

Rules for change: The random number must be included in the period between the start time and the end time. Example : for 1 hour of period the Random must be defined between 1 and 60 minutes Values for Data flow direction : * for Download and Upload files Up for Upload files from dcs-repository\out with a specific file Name Down for Download files in dcs-repository\in with a specific file Name Windows Scheduler : Each night, the TDFA batch calculates the new schedule with a random start time. and Windows scheduler is updated:

The Windows appears when all components are installed. Click on Finish.

TDFA and R-Patch Software must be present in the Panel Control. To uninstall these Software, you must use the control panel.

3 BASIC CONFIGURATION FOR TDFA

The aim of this chapter is to perform a basic and minimal configuration to RUN the installation.

3.1 CERTIFICATE IMPORT

The new TDFA_setup includes certificate import in the TDFA instance. If you want to change TDFA certificate, follow this process :

1- Copy TDFA Certificate in the folder c:\master with this naming convention :

In this example : the certificate TDF00900100.p12 is generated for the TDFA BOX 00900100

2- If you need proxy for your internet access, you must to complete the file proxy.dat :

3- Run the script TDFA Compil with administrator rights, present in Windows Start Menu :

Click Y to continue. The system require password for your TDFA technical certificate and will generate TDFA Schedule.

3.3 MAPPING REDIRECT NET DRIVE WITH WINDOWS SYSTEM ACCOUNT

Context : - If you use the TDFA redirect feature, you must follow this procedure on Windows.

Prerequisites :

- Know this information before continuing

o Server Name and Share Name where Renaultnet folder is present with OUT and IN

Subfolder

o Letter for mapping network drive >> check if it free on TDFA host (for example >> R:)

o User account for Server Name

o Password for Server Name

Procedure :

1- Execute the new script: c:\master\bin\mount_redirect.cmd

2- Enter Network drive information on this screen:

Enter the credential:

After entering your user and password, the systems: - generate a new task in Windows Scheduler

- mount automatically the network drive with your defined letter

3- Open DOS Shell Command with an Administrator account (CMD)

4- Execute : c:\master\bin\psexec -i -s cmd.exe

5- A new DOS Shell Windows appear with the local\system rights account

Check who are you with the command : “whoami” => you must be “nt authority\system”

6- Check if you have access to the drive with your letter for example “r:”

7- On local path c:\dcs-repository create the file redirect.txt with the entry “r:\renaultnet\”

8- Test TDFA launch in the Windows Scheduler and check if the file LOG is present in

“r:\renaultnet\tdfui.log”

9- You can use network drive with “in” and “out” subfolders.

10- For information: You can see a new task in windows scheduler

“Mount_Redirect” is launched at Windows start for re-mapping automatically your network drive.

Drive R: Folder “renaultnet”

4 INSTALLATION TEST AND TDFA LOG FILE

The aim of this test is to check the installation by sending TDFA request to the Renault net endpoint. Proceed as follows :

Wait for the end of the program, and consult the log file : TDFUI.LOG present in the folder c:\dcs-repository.

TDFA Log file contains all the traces of TDFA requests.

A backup is automatically scheduled every 8 days in the TDFUI.SAV
