Stargel Gives Back

Over the past decade, Stargel Office Solutions has given back to its community by donating over five hundred thousand dollars to various non-profit organizations throughout Houston. Stargel Office Solutions has also developed the “Stargel Gives Back” program in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. Because of his commitment to give back to the community, Owner and President, Jack Stargel was honored with the Houston Business Journal Corporate Philanthropy Award - Small Corporation.

More than 20,000 pairs of Pro Feet socks were distributed to many of the Hurricane Harvey relief centers throughout the Houston metropolitan area. For every account that was sold during the months of September and October 2017, Stargel Office Solutions donated additional funds to relief centers in the Houston area.

In addition, Jack Stargel initiated an internal fundraiser for those employees that were directly affected by the storm. Once employee contributions were tallied, the company not only matched the employee contributions but exceeded those contribu-tions with additional money from the company.

Stargel Office Solutions contributes to many other non-profit organizations including Alzheimer’s Foundation, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Crime Stoppers, Epilepsy Foundation, Houston SPCA, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Saint Thomas High School, Sarcoma Cancer Foundation, Search Homeless Services, Spring Branch ISD and St. Jude International just to name a few.

Besides monetary contributions, Stargel Office Solutions also encourages its employees to participate in other fundraising activities and volunteer opportunities. We have groups volunteer at the Houston Food Bank and participate in numerous fund-raisers and walks for non-profit organizations such as the Epilepsy and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundations.
