Episode Summary• In the movie Revenge of the Sith directed by George Lucus, there are two

sides: the Republic and the Separatists, also know as the dark side. Jedi Knight ,Anakin Skywalker, has a vision that Padme, his girlfriend, was going to die in child birth. Anakin was so nervous and scared that Padme, the love of his life, would die. He goes to the chancellor who tells him of a power that could stop someone from dying. He wants the training to get this power. In the process of gaining the power, he kills other jedis. Anakin turns evil and will even turn against his own Master, Obi Wan Kenobi. He fights Obi Wan and is seriously injured. Both legs and one arm are cut off. In the end, Padme dies because of Anakin’s anger. Anakin later becomes Darth Vader and is one of the leaders of the Dark Side. .

The Republic

• The Republic was made up of a Jedi Council which helped make decisions as a group, like an Oligarchy.

• Unlike the Dark Side everyone had a say and were working for the best of everyone.

The Dark Side• The Dark Side was ran by the Sith Lord and now with Darth Vader. They killed many jedi and over threw the republic.

• The Dark Side is a Tyranny government.

• Darth Vader will later posses a great power that can stop people from dying.
