Miley Cyrus has a very strong brand image due to the fact now a days many of the artists that attract the most consumers and are predominately always in the public eye, are those who are very over sexualised. For example, as you can see here the images for the album 'Bangerz' are extremely sexually provoking and promiscuous. In terms of 'The Male Gaze Theory' it satisfies the gratifications of many and can appeal to a mass audience which therefore means a stronger brand image for artists like Miley Cyrus. Many of the images are showing Miley in sexual poses which can relate to the genre of hip hop. Similarly, in all the pictures, she is looking directly into the camera. This could mean the images connect more with the audience and makes it clear that it's about her.The use of neon lights and bright colours makes it stand out to the target market.

old image VS new image Over the years, Miley Cyrus' star image has evolved. It has gone from ' the girl next door' to a wild party animal image. Personally, I think this has helped her create a very strong brand image. However, many would argue that her morals may have been left behind with her old star image.
