Great Lighting for All Walks of Life

Whether in classrooms, cafeterias, labs, libraries and lecture halls. Or offices, boardrooms and conference centers. Or stores, lobbies and showrooms. Everyone who spends the majority of their day inside deserves great lighting.

What is great lighting? It’s lighting with all the essentials:

Introducing Staple. All the fundamentals of great lighting accessible to all.

Even that dorky IT guy down the hall.

Modern Design

Subtle contours around the perimeter of the rectilinear body make Staple pleasingly approachable like Ms. Peach, your high-school principal. Its neutral (think Switzerland) form makes it suitable for a wide-range of installations.

A soft glowing acrylic baffle or diffuse lens extends edge to edge and end to end creating seamless continuity. Gloss white paint finishes the understated yet thoroughly modern luminaire.

Staple delivers on the Peerless mantra of Lighting for People® by emitting diffuse, uniform and glare-free illumination.

Optically engineered shielding and reflectors produce a quality of light that minimizes eyestrain and fatigue often experienced by those who spend significant time reading, writing, programming and googling “sick day excuses.”

With most lamping options meeting IES Recommended Practice for open offices (RP-1) and Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) guidelines, Staple produces exactly the kind of illumination that promotes workplace productivity and improves classroom learning.

Efficient Performance

To reduce electricity use, meet building power density requirements and impress even the most miserly of energy misers, Staple directs lumens exactly where they’re needed.

With a standard 65% indirect, 35% direct distribution, Staple delivers the needed lumens on the work plane while effectively illuminating

the whole space with natural, even lighting. And it achieves this balancing act with minimal lumen loss; Staple is more than 90% efficient.

For applications where ceiling reflectivity is less than optimal, Staple may be specified with optional variable distribution reflectors to redirect more light downward.

Energy-Saving Controls

When specified with an optional, integrated nLight® Micro Sensor, Staple becomes an intelligent Mr. Smarty Pants luminaire that provides:

Daylight dimming

Occupancy detection — dual technology passive infrared and Microphonics™

360° coverage of up to 12’ depending on mounting height

Remote or on-luminaire push-button programming

For greater row, room, building or campus control, Staple can be specified as an nLight-enabled luminaire for easy, Cat-5e “plug-and-play” connectivity with nLight control and sensor systems.

Learn more about the nLight Micro Sensor at PeerlessLighting.com/nLight-Sensor-Page

Created specifically with schools in mind, Staple can also be paired with either an nClass or Academy Pack pre-configured classroom controls package.
