Here are few helpful reminders as you plan for the end of the year. Please remember: Pay your outstanding obligations online or in the school office. The office accepts cash, checks, and credit/debit cards. PARCC and DLM testing for all grades is April 4-28. (For more information please refer to the letter from A. Rae Clementz on page 4-5) The choir concert is April 25 at 7:00 at Lotus. Friday, April 14 is a non-attendance day. The Variety Show is Friday, April 21 at 6:00. Drama Club Performance Opening Night Friday, May 5. 8 th Grade Springfield trip Monday, May 15 and Tuesday, May 16. 8 th Grade Dance Friday, May 19. 2 nd Semester Honors Night for Grades 5-7 Tuesday, May 23. 8 th Grade Graduation Monday, May 22. All 8th grade activities are a privilege and eligibility guidelines will be strictly adhered to. All outstanding obligations must be paid in full for students to receive their diploma, final report card, and class picture.

Graduation Ceremony Information

Graduation is at Grant Community High School in the West Gym at 7:00pm on Monday, May 22, 2017.

The doors will open at 6:15pm and there no

tickets or a limit to the number of guests that can attend.

Students must arrive no later than 6:30pm and

report to the East Gym.

All outstanding obligations must be paid to receive diploma.

Stanton’s Student Council, under the direction of Ms. Andersen and Mrs. Rendon, has worked hard all year organizing and overseeing many events for the students. Some of the events include the Valentine and Halloween Dances, Boo-Grams, the ABC Countdown, and Penny Wars. Members meet once a month and work together to help make Stanton School a great place to be.

Wednesday, May 10 is “P” Day. To celebrate, we are inviting all of the parents/guardians or an important adult in your student’s life (grandma, grandpa, aunt, uncle, sister, cousin, etc.) to Stanton to have lunch! Bring your own lunch or order one from the cafeteria and enjoy some special time with your special student!

5th and 6th graders will have lunch from 11:04-11:39

7th and 8th graders will have lunch from 11:42-12:14
