Empathy Map:SAY: My time is precious; I need commitment from my mentee; it’s ultimately a question of trust; I expect follow-through; I am ready to share tips and help; It is based upon confidentiality; There is a process we have to follow ; We meet at regular intervals to assess whether this is helpful; I don’t always know what to share/say to my menteeTHINK: Mentor wants to make sure he/she is not wasting his/her time; Mentor-mentee is a deep relationship based upon trust FEEL: It is sometimes tough for mentor to know whether his/her advice is really helpful
