Polish tradition

In Poland on St. Andrews Eve only girls before marrying make Predictions. The date of that Eve is 29th November.

They get hot wax through the key. They push the candle onto the water. They put paper with names of boys under the pillow They write poems about St. Andrews Eve. They peel the apple, whose peeling was the longest, that one

will first get married. At midnight they sit in front of the mirror and light a candle

and they wait to see her husband’s face in the mirror.
