Software SIV-Measure-Auto

Automatic measurements of diameters, angles and lengths of several pieces, using a model specified by the user. Method of Measurement You can draw some measurement lines by the mouse on the image of a

“pattern”. This software can automatically detect the points marking the edges of the pattern; all measurements are repeatable and objective. The interaction functions between the elements allow you to find automatically all measures:

• distance point/point • distance point/line • diameter of a circle or arc of a circle • distance circle center/circle center • angle line/line • point of intersection line/line

Software SivMeasureAuto saves in a database the “pattern” and all measurements made on the “pattern”. You can place on Visual Inspector the piece to measure, (similar to the pattern), in every position and orientation. Software recognizes the piece and automatically executes all measurements of diameters, angles, points and distances setted on the “pattern”. The measurement results are immediately shown. Software verifies if each measure is in tolerance. The measures out tolerance are marked in red color and an error notice is shown. Measurements results A Report in Microsoft Excel contains all results of the measurements: - date, operator, kind of measured pieces, etc. - values of all measures. All images of the measured pieces are saved in files, with all measurement lines.

The Visual Inspector camera can capture the image of a piece and save it in a file. Software SivProfile can detect all points marking the piece profile. Software can draw on the image a continuous series of points of the profile of the piece. You can remove the image to have the line-plotted only. You can select different parameters to have an adjustment of the profile, as your own requirements. The profile is exported in a file .DXF for any CAD system. You can resize the profile with a suitable scale.

Software SIV-Color

Software for color comparison The colors are identified with numerical values; the colors of the examined pieces can be compared to the numerical values of a model. Using method Visual Inspector camera captures the image of the colored-pattern piece. You can draw a rectangular area on the image of the pattern. Software will attribute a numerical value to the average color of the selected area; the numerical value references to RGB values of the camera. When you have to control the color of a piece, you can draw on its image an adequate rectangular area. Software will attribute a numerical value to the average color of this selected area. Software will compare the numerical value of the colored-pattern with the numerical value of the piece. Software SivColor sends the error signal if that difference is out tolerance. It’s possible to control the colors of a series of pieces and save in files the tested colored images and their numerical values.
