Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week.
Mock Sobriety with BGSU Police and SWN
Date: Monday, October 21
Time: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Location: Student Union tables
Stop by the Student Union Tables to see if you have what
it takes to pass a sobriety test given by a BGSU Police
Officer! Also, learn information about not driving drunk.
What is Intoxication?

Location: Student Union tables
Participate in activities that test your knowledge of BAC
and tolerance. Attendees also learn about smartphone
apps that help raise awareness of personal impairmentlevels.

Location: Perry Field House, hosted by Delta Zeta Sorority
Enjoy a relaxing evening featuring a live DJ,
root beer pong, corn hole and playing card tournaments.
Participants have the chance to win raffle prizes!
MONSTER MASH HALLOWEEN BASHDate: Thursday, October 24
Time: 10:00 PM - 1:00 AM
Location: Perry Field House
Enjoy a scary night at the Perry
Field House, equipped with FREE
food, a live DJ, a photo booth,
FREE massage therapy, prizes,
and giveaways. Zumba sessionsare offered at 10:30 PM and 11:30 PM. Prizes are given for
individual, group and couple costumes!

BREAST CANCER RISK FACTORS: MYTH OR FACT?
Myth: Breast cancer occurs only in older women
Fact: Although the risk increases as you get older, all
individuals are at risk of getting breast cancer.
Myth: Women with a history of breast cancer typically
get breast cancer.
Fact: Most women who get breast cancer have no
family history of disease. Although, a person whose
mother, sister, or daughter had breast cancer has an
increased risk.
Myth: Men cannot get breast cancer.
Fact: Breast cancer in men is rare, but it can occur.
According to Susan G. Komen, there will be roughly
2,240 new cases of male breast cancer in 2013.
BREAST CANCER STATISTICS
About 1 in 8 women in the United States
will develop invasive breast cancer over
the course of their lifetime. Breast cancer is the most common form
of cancer and is the second leading
cause of death in women.
An estimated 232,340 new cases of invasive breast
cancer will occur among U.S. women in 2013.
About 410 men will die from a breast cancer in 2013.

Participate in the annual co-ed dodgeball tournament in
effort to raise testicular cancer awareness. All proceeds go
to the American Cancer Society.
