and carpeted.

Using standard materials such as softwood and MDF a very

effective design can be accomplished at a low cost. Providing

Space saver stairs, ideal for loft conversions where space is

limited. The treads are shaped with cut outs alternating left

and right, meaning the staircase can be much steeper yet

still maintain its safety.

Space saver staircases are only suitable to serve one habitable

room (plus en suite). A handrail / wall rail should be fitted to

both sides.

Federation stair scheme.

The TSA set its own standards for membership to ensure Compliance with Regulations,

Sustainability and Quality of products manufactures by its members to give the House

Builders, Contractors, Self-Build and Merchants a real reason for specifying TSA member

staircases.

The BWF stair scheme now represents approximately 70% of the timber stair market,

bringing together like-minded manufacturers who are committed to driving up

standards in timber stairs to make the industry more competitive against rival materials

and increase market share.

The scheme is managed by the BWF, and includes manufacturers, as well as approved suppliers, who play an important part in maintaining these standards.

We are regularly audited to ensure our products and production meet the high standards set out by the BWF.

Sourced from the Appalachian Mountains

within the north east of America. This is by

far our most popular hardwood. Its harder

and denser with a more beautiful, flawless

grain to any other oak.

Sapele

West African reddish-brown hardwood.

Sapele has a deep rich colour with a

random grain appearance. A Sapele

handrail creates a perfect contrast against

a white painted staircase.

Timber is a natural product and may differ from the sample seen in colour and figure. Certain species of timber will contain a small percentage of sap and knots in line with international grading standards.

Redwood Pine

This is a high performance engineered

timber product sourced with FSC

certification from mills in Europe.

This is a durable, cost effective material,

American Black Walnut
