STANDARD CONSTRUCTION

Frames• 3” X 7” X 10 ga, 304 Stainless Steel Channel casing in “U”

• 3” large frame size

Blades• Stainless steel 304 double skin, 6 1/8”, 14 ga parallel blades “Airfoil” shape,

Axles• Shaft Full Lenght 3/4” dia, 304 Stainless Steel bolted to blades

Finish • Stainless Steel 304

Bearings• Stainless Steel, Standard life lubricated, sealed and bolt end of frame

vertically mounted

Linkage• 1/4” x 1 1/8” tie bars and 3/8” pivot pins concealed in frame”. All components are stainless steel• Concealed Linkage Stainless Steel 304 in Airstream, Holding Pins are Stainless Steel 304

Seals• Jamb seal installed each side of vertical frame stainless steel 301• High temperature silicone seal resisting up to 500oF installed on each end

of the blades assembly

Actuator• Electric actuator

Notes• Jack shaft used on multiple sections dampers only

• Free area of 75% or more

• Life Expectancy : 25 years with regular maintenance every 6 months

• Factory installed electric or pneumatic motor will be tested on request

• The dampers with initial position (open or close) will withstand up to 1 hour temperature of 500oF

• Dampers frame shall be one part 304 Stainless Steel box construction 10 ga

• Steel blades are made of 14 ga 304 Stainless Steel

• The SSIDHP series dampers have pressure sensitive jamb and blade edge seals to maximise sealing characteristics without unduly increasing torque requirements

• The SSIDHP dampers have been tested to AMCA Standard 500-D

• Blade are 6 1/4” with gasket

• Blades assembly 7” total with gaskets

Minimum Size• Single blade, parallel action :

6 1/8” to 6 1/4”

• Two blade, parallel or opposed action 12” x 12”

• Blade assembly with double gaskets 7” total

Maximum Size• Single section : 60” x 96”

• Multiple Section Assembly
