ENGLISH – Revising & Editing Read your narrative and use a different coloured pen to add, remove and substitute ideas. Check your spelling and punctuation. READING – Read a book of your choice. Create a find-a-word using the template and words from the book. Get a family member to find your words.
ENGLISH - Publishing Publish your narrative neatly in your workbook and draw pictures to illustrate the different events in the story. You can also type it! GAMES Play a board game like monopoly, uno, scrabble or anything else you may like with your family.
MIDDLE MATHS - Patterns & Algebra Complete the dot-to-dot worksheet by starting at 3 and counting by threes. POSITION - Introduction to Position. The towels are in the third shelf from the bottom.
MATHS - Patterns & Algebra Use the 10x10 grid provided to complete a pattern art using your name. You may Google search “Patterns & Algebra name art” for more ideas.

MATHS - Patterns & Algebra Task 1: Perform the body percussion rhythm. Task 2: Create your own. POSITION - Grid References Complete the ‘Pirates Map Grid Reference’ worksheet. Remember to refer to the horizontal grid reference first, then the vertical grid reference.
CREATIVE ARTS - Sculpture Create a 3D sculpture using recycled materials around your home. Take a photo of it and share it with your teacher on Seesaw. Example below.

SPORT – OBSTACLE COURSE Make your own obstacle course, using materials you have around your house. Make it as big as you can and challenge your family. Time each member of the family. See who is the winner.
