Stafford HS Daily Announcements

Seniors
Can you put on the announcements that any senior who has not picked up
their cap and gown should see Mrs. Sutton in the library.
Exam Exemption Forms
will be handed out during first block on Friday, May 29. If you have an
SOL, please be sure to check in to first block and get your form prior to going
to your SOL.
Stafford Girl's Soccerwin over GarField, 7-0.
Nina Poppe scored two goals and had an assist. Goals were added by Maggie
Bellinger, Katie Rauch, Gabi Hull, Jorah Blagg, and Katherine Perry. Assists were
recorded by Rauch, Nia Fountain, Melanie Vaughn, and Angel Finch. Sophia Camp
and Sydney Smith recorded the shutout in goal for Stafford. Stafford is now 11 - 6.
The boys tennis team defeated
Riverbend 5 to 2 yesterday to advance to the conference championship today. Grayson Selby had
another victory and remains undefeated on the season. Eric Kauffman also had a big day with big
wins in singles and doubles. Kevin Dreeke, playing sick, won a big singles match, and Shane Daveler added essential wins in singles
and doubles.Wish them luck in
winning the championship today.
If you are signed up for AP Language or AP Literature next year
and did not attend the open house, come see your AP teacher to receive the summer
assignment! AP Language students see: Mr. Bixler (C102) or
Mrs. Battista (W204) AP Literature students see: Mrs. Carafiol (N115)
SOLs have you bummed out?
Ready for a little pick-me-up before the end of the year? Come see the 8th Annual
"Night on Broadway" presented by the Stafford High School
Fine Arts Department on Saturday, May 30th. Dinner begins at 5:30pm,
with the show following at 7pm.
“A Night On Broadway”features classic and modern Broadway hits
staged and performed by Stafford High School Choir students. This year's show features
selections from"Fiddler on the Roof“
"Les Miserables“"Spamalot”
"Phantom of the Opera“"Sweeney Todd“
"Into the Woods", and more!
“A Night on Broadway”tickets for the dinner and show are $20 for adults
and $17 for students and senior citizens. Show only tickets are available at the door,
$10 for adults and $7 for students.SCPS Employees get in the show for free with a
valid SCPS ID. If you would like Dinner and Show tickets please reply back to me to order tickets.
This will be the very last performance of any kind on the Stafford High School stage before we move
to the new school - come enjoy the show!
The Theater department will hold auditions for the 2015-2016 One-Act
competition play this THURSDAY, May 28th after school in the auditorium from
2:30-5:00 pm. Audition materials and information are available on fusion at
Stafford Players.

Scholarships
Please bring any notifications you have received regarding scholarships you have been
awarded to the Counseling Center. This includes all scholarship monies regardless of whether you have accepted them or not. You
will be recognized for your achievements at the Scholarship Program. Any questions please see
Mrs. Bryant in the Counseling Center.
SENIORS 2015If you need a copy of your immunization
record for COLLEGE, a Job, or your Parent’s Records; you will need to request from the Nurses office before the end of the school year. There is a 24-hour processing time.
The Nurse is not on duty during the summer and the immunization record is not readily
available.
