CHRISTMAS ADOPT-A-CHILD THANK YOU! A heartfelt thank you from the Community Services Committee, The Homeless Families Foundation, and St. John/Holy Rosary! YOU ARE INVITED TO THE ANNUAL WOMEN’S DAY OF REFLECTION! Fr. Nic Ventura, Parochial Vicar, will facilitate the Women’s Day of Reflection on Saturday, January 14, 2017, beginning with Holy Mass at 9:00 a.m. His topic is “Feminine Genius and the Marian Dimension of the Church: Mary as the Model for All Women.” Please sign up at the Welcome Center if you plan to attend. For more information contact Beverley Wynne at [email protected] or at 614-846-1204.

SWEATERS FOR SENIORS: The “Sweaters for Seniors” campaign will be held again in January this year. Many older people in our community must make the choice among paying bills, buying medicines and food, and keeping warm. Too often many lower their thermostats to save money for these other necessities. So while you shop the after Christmas sales, please pick up a CARDIGAN jacket or sweater. Gently used sweaters and zipper jackets are also appreciated. Please do not donate slipover items as the elderly have difficulty putting them on.

RCIA – RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS: Meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays in the Blue Room. All current Catholics are welcome to attend any and all talks. January 26 – Models of the Church February 2 – Peace, Justice and Life Issues February 9 – Personal and Social Morality February 16 – Sacrament of Vocation: Holy OrdersFor more information contact Paul Zemanek at [email protected].
