Welcome to Library Services

All you will need to borrow materials or make bookings is your

staff ID card (and not even that when you become a regular

customer!).

Please invest a few minutes getting to know the many ways in

which we can save you time and help your students to succeed.

Did you know that each of the staff in the library has a dedicat-

ed liaison area within the college? Let us introduce you:

Hello! As a new member of staff we would like to

welcome you to Library Services and hope

that we can provide resources for your

teaching, your students and your own

How you can help us.

Suggestions for new resources

If you have any suggestions for purchases

please pass this information to the Library

staff. Purchases are made throughout the

year so new materials are added to stock

regularly. We would also appreciate your

help when books etc are no longer up to date - again just let us know if

we have missed withdrawing something “past its sell-by-date”.

We look forward to working with you and hope you will soon be one

of our best customers.

Keeping the libraries as quiet

learning environments

We always appreciate the support tutors

give to us, especially when we occasionally

have to ask for your help in managing

inappropriate student behaviour.

Please feel free to bring classes into the

libraries, but do ensure they have something to do and are supervised.

Hairdressing Training

Hairdressing Training provides

exemplary step-by-step guidance

videos, self-evaluation tests,

worksheets and guides relating to an

expanding collection of hairdressing styles and techniques; the service

is also mapped to the NVQ Hairdressing curriculum.
