HOSTED BY:

#CONNECT2PREVENT STOPTHEABUSE.CA
Welcome to Moving Forward’s Stop the Abuse Conference!
Moving Forward launched Stop the Abuse in 2015 to prevent violence against women (VAW) through education and cross-sector collaboration. We bring together leaders in human resources, the Ministry, social service agencies, special unit officers, district school boards, unions and bystanders from across the Greater Toronto Area in order to work together towards the end of violence.
We are proud to introduce: Sean McFarling, Laura Williams, Safina Lakhani, Ellen Campbell, Nneka MacGregor, Brent Duguid, David Butt, Linda Skoyles, Sandra Rupnarain, Cyndy Baskin, Cathy Quinn, and Lilia Shillingford as our expert speakers introducing the newest knowledge on domestic violence prevention.
We have a jam packed agenda and we are excited to get started!
A special thank you to our supporters: The Co-operators, LiUNA OPDC, TACC Developments, Pizza Nova, Fontana Primavera Event Centre, Burlington Signs National, The Lowe-Martin Group, Human Resources Professionals Association and the Ontario Association of Social Workers.
Thank you for investing in us so we can invest in vulnerable individuals and families experiencing violence!
Sincerely,
The Moving Forward Board of Directors
