SAVE THE DATE—FELLOW CHRISTIANS: join us as we carry the Cross of Jesus Christ through the town of Murphy on Good Friday, April 14th. We will assemble at St. William Church at 10:15AM leaving the Church at 10:30AM, praying the Scripture Stations of the Cross as we walk. You will have the opportunity to take turns carrying the Cross, and we will finish around 11:45AM at the United Methodist Church in town. Please wear comfortable clothing. ……………….……………………………………………..… OUR LENTEN SERIES ENDS this Tuesday, Apr il 11th at 11AM as we continue our journey to holiness. WE PRAY THE ROSARY FOR WORLD PEACE: the Rosary is recited every Wednesday at 4:30PM prior to the 5PM Mass. Please join us. EASTER EGG HUNT: ther e will be an Easter egg hunt on the Church grounds immediately following the 9AM Mass on Easter Sunday. Please bring your own Easter Baskets. Children ages 3 to5 will search in one area, ages 60 to 8 in another and ages 9 to 12 will search behind the Church (weather permit-ting). In case of rain, the Easter egg hunt will be held indoors. More General Announcements …………………………………………………………………. DIVINE MERCY: On the Sunday after Easter the entire Church is called to gather throughout the world to celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday. From St. Maria Faustina’s Diary it is clear that this Octave Day of Easter is a day chosen by Christ as a day of extraordinary graces and a complete outpouring of His mercy upon all who approach Him with great trust and expectant faith. As we approach Palm Sunday and the begin-ning of Holy Week, information on praying the Chaplet is available at the Divine Mercy table in the Commons at St. Wil-liam. There will be additional information on Divine Mercy events in an insert in next week’s bulletin for both parishes. Please remember that the Divine Mercy Chaplet is prayed after the 5PM Mass each Friday at St. William and all are invited to his Fountain of Mercy. ………………………………………………………………….. FR. ALEX will be away Monday, Apr il 17th thru Fr iday, April 21st. Communion Service will take the place of Mass at our respective parishes.
